Evolving Mercury - Can't take out of temple

I am playing on a 5c. Level 133 and have latest version.

Every time I try to take my mercury out of the evolution temple, it goes back to the nest, then my game starts "processing", when that is done, mercury is back on the nest.


I have forced closed several times.

Try taking it out of the nest multiple times. Or take it out and go to arctic isles real quick. Or take it out and evolve something else real quick.

This happens to me sometimes and seems to resolve itself after a couple of tries
