Just wondering if the only way to get it was by crafting it. I have one, yet i dont remember to have crafted it, so im wondering if i ever got it as a gift, and we can do that?

You can also get spell scrolls from questing. I've been doing the quests for the Comet dragon pieces and occasionally I've received a spell scroll.
