Elusive Hot Air Ballon

I was wondering if anyone else out there is having trouble with the hot air ballon? I updated the game on 3rd August but still haven't seen it yet. Is it there all the time or does it only appear every few days or so? If anyone has seen it yet I'd love to know. Thank you all. Happy farming
