Why is the fountain 33 gems when it's basically the 25-gem Amethyst fountain in a different color? Sighhhh.

Is anyone else a bit disappointed? I'm so happy for everyone else though, I'm just not August born and green isn't my favorite of all colors. The designs look a little low quality to me as well, and the fountain looks just like the purple amethyst one we just got, no? I want summer items, unless I've been sleeping under a rock the last few months. We haven't gotten any real summer, beachy items yet have we? I also haven't seen any good tables lately for gems and I've been saving my gems for something great. I really hope next week they step it up a little!

I'm with you - and I'm May born, which is emerald birthstone, which this could pass as. (side note: I always thought peridot was lighter, but it's not like I paid any real attention.) I agree it would go well with any St. Patty's Day stuff, but it's not like that's a holiday I care much about either. I think the amethyst update was actually better - that one had the pretty purple & white chaise with it, right?

I will bake those green cupcakes, however, assuming that's a new recipe!

I remember they said they were going to restart this month with goals at the first of the month, or at least I was under that impression!

I like most everything, hopefully they'll do this for all the birthstones! Sapphire is next! The green cake? looks a bit like a Christmas Tree.

My daughter's birthstone is peridot. Peridot is much lighter.

The peridot fountain look exactly like the amethyst fountain we got. I guess I'll just wait for my birthstone fountain instead. XD Happy for new recipe! Yay!! :D

Bleeeeehh... I'm very DISSAPOINTED for this year updates, since they late with last christmas updates, beside 2 goals, everything is bad, I'm waiting for something cuteee and nicee..but guess never comes, thx God for making new recipes in oven, that's a BIG change for TL

Love this idea! My birthday & anniversary is tuesday. I love the color green. Having birthday theme is good, maybe it shouldn't be too expensive to encourage others to change thru-out thd year.

The fountain is the same as the amethyst one but more expensive. The amethyst fountain is 25 gems and the new one is 33 gems. That's kinda silly. Why pay 8 more gems for the same exact fountain only in green. I wanted one of each. I guess peridot is more expensive than amethyst lol

I like the flowers and that's about it. A little too much green for my taste. I was hoping the cake would be for coins because as someone else stated, it would be perfect for Christmas time. I don't understand why the fountain is more expensive than the amethyst one? That just seems very greedy considering they are the same except fountain, but different colors. I also don't understand these birthstone updates... why skip several months? If you're going to continue with birthstone themes, at least have one for every month and not just two months. We have a little over a month of Summer left before Autumn and we have yet to see a Summer related update.

The only good thing about this update is the new recipe even though it's for 12 hrs. It'll take forever to max on this recipe. Hopefully I'll complete it b4 the new challenge a wk from today.
