Dark Cove price reduced

I saved and saved to get $410,000 to buy the dark cove, bought it and now I see it's been reduced to $270,000 :( :(

I noticed that too it's cheaper and some other habitats went up like the gem grove and the big water way habitat!

Me too, I thought I was losing my mind when I finally got the 410, only to see it listed for 270. I'm glad I didn't spend more, but I wish I'd seen it sooner.

I'm glad they changed it around. It seemed a bit silly to gave a lower level habitat cost so much more than the crystal mix. Sorry you guys saved up and bought it before the change though :-/

I noticed that yesterday when I was at level 14 the small water habitat lowered to $8000. I was so excited! This morning I leveled up and the large water habitat is 520,000. It is almost twice as much as the Dark Cove - even the gem habitat is less. I thought it must be a mistake - I forced closed the app, but no change. Is this real? The other large habitats are 10k, 36k, and 43k and water jumps up to 520? Is it supposed to be 52k?

Don't be sad, looking backward. Looking forward, be glad that your additional Dark Coves will cost less. You will most likely need to build more of them as your Dark hybrids will probably earn too much to be cooped up in Fire, Nature or Earth habitats.

I spent all I had for a Gem Grove (Crystal Unicorn habitat) and had to sell my first Skyger egg. Of course, Armordillo & Turtisle had to go make a second throwaway Skyger. Even at 270,000, I still can't give Skyger a home just yet. 150,000 would have made more sense.

As for the large Water habitat (which my Hydro Yak really needs), that price is outrageous! As was suggested, maybe they accidentally added a zero. I'm waiting for that one to come down. Way, way down, hopefully.

Well, I bought two water way habitats for 37,000 each. Bummer that now they can be had for next to nothing for others.

Only 30,000?
Wicked Thicket costs 100,000 to remove. Immovable Rock costs 180,000. I'm sure there will be others costing even more.

Staying on topic, while the Dark Cove holding 2 animals is now reduced from 410,000 to 270,000, the Big Dark Cove (for 3 animals) is now 900,000 coins!
The price of the Gem Grove has been increased from 270,000 to 340,000. The Big Gem Grove is bound to cost at least 1 million coins.
Animal max levels have been raised from level 10 to 15, while their earnings have decreased.
The game has just taken a very nasty turn in the past 24 hours.

I'm glad they lowered it. I bred the Skyger so early in the game that I sold it off the nest because it would have taken too long to get the coins needed for the habitat and I wouldn't be able to breed anything else in the meantime. I have 230,000 coins now so will be able to get the habitat soon and then try again to breed the Skyger.

The game, IMO being so new, TL appears to be making adjustments to the game based on the feedback on the forum.

What was I thinking? Was 1 million coins unthinkable for the Big Gem Grove? I just unlocked it at Level 18 and it costs OVER 6 MILLION COINS!!!!

Oh, dear... I'm glad some of the prices have been lowered, but I do hope the larger habitats will be more afforable moving forward!

I am just about to buy my first dark habitat and can't find the info here.
Does anybody know how long it takes to build the small dark habitat?

So far the build times seem to be quite short. Gotta say, I like it!! ;-)

I only noticed the cost after I realised I had a skygar in my nest. I'm now frantically trying to earn as much in coins as I can. 1 day in and it's still sitting there. I have around 160,000 coins to go !

I wound up buying it and speeding it up a little. The small dark habitat takes 12 hours to build.
Kinda long, but there it is. ;-)

I think $270 is way out of line with others...got the goal, started breeding, put egg out, started breeding another creature and now game is all locked up until I can get the $ - guess I should have checked price first but never imagined such a huge difference for this. $150 would make more sense this early in game... Oh well....

I have had the Skyger on the nest for the last 3 days! I do not want to sell it, but it will take weeks to get enough money raised for the habitat. Feel I am stuck between a rock & a hard place.
Any advice? Should I just sell it & move on?

This happened to me. It took me about 3 days but I finally got enough money for the habitat. I was jumping in my game every hour and even though my habitats were not full of coins, I clicked on them and collected what I could. It builds up fast.
I also did not spend any money on crops /expansions, etc.

Thanks kooky panda. I will just have to practice a little more patience. I just hope I can then get to level 15 before the time expires to get the bonus on Castle, Restaurant and Dragon story.
