Onyx or Tiger's Eye

I have enough gems to craft either an Onyx or an Tiger's Eye, but I don't know which one is better in the arena. Does anybody have advice?

I already have Jade, so no need for that one :)

I think more often Tiger's Eye rather than Onyx has a color combo useful for battle lottery, but it's not something i can prove scientifically or show statistics on :)

The Onyx and Tiger's Eye are both pretty expensive to evolve to Levels 9 and 10 - mine are both at Level 8 (I just got the Onyx but I've had my Tiger's Eye for several months) and because they're only Level 8 they rarely make the starting lineup in battles.

Since the end of April, I've only used my Tiger's Eye twice in tournaments. It won both times but was against low level opponents (Level 7 May Dragon in Round 4 of the Viking flash tournament and Level 1 Patchwork Dragon in Round 3 of the Spellthorn tournament). I'm sure in both cases the Level 8 Tiger's Eye was just one of several dragons I could have used - I try to use the early rounds of tournaments to let my reserve dragons get some action.

I'll eventually evolve both of them to Levels 9 or 10, I'm not sure that I can justify making their evolution a priority over some of the other level 8 dragons I have - such as Kitsune or some of the dragons from the Egyptian event which would be called upon more in the arena if they were Level 9 or 10.

I guess this was a long way of saying... in my experience, neither the Onyx or the Tiger's Eye is particularly valuable in the arena so go with either one. Note: the Tiger's Eye generates a little better income. And it's cuter.

I don't have both of them! but when I hav all materials to craft probably I will choose the tiger eyes! That one is difficult to beat in the arena( I mean its tough to beat and it's strong )

I think both look really nice, but Tiger's Eye looks a little over-done to me. Onyx, however, looks ugly in adult form. So whichever one you'd like! But Jade is really good in arena.
