WATCH OUT! Fellow players!

I got this new quest telling me to tend a magic tree.
It is clearly written that I do not need to purchase the magic fruit tree
And it brought me to the screen for the magic fruit tree showing it costs 120 gems.
I trust the line in the quest, and click.
But 120 gems were deducted from me. The reward is only 20 gems.

So what is that line for - to trick me using my gems?
Or should it be "you don't have to buy this if you don't want to pursuit this quest" instead?

I felt *****ed! Shouldn't trick us that way.

I think this might be a matter of misunderstanding. The way I understand it, it means you do not need to purchase the tree. Of course you cannot tend a tree you don't have. And getting one for free is probably far fetched. I took it for getting the tree cheaper, as I like the look of it.

One thing is sure, if there is a purchase button and you click it, you purchased it. You might send an email to customer service? Not sure if that will help, but worth a try. You never know, might be your lucky day :)

I do feel for you. A stupid misunderstanding costing you a lot of gems.

Agree, it is easy to misunderstand. I think it means you do not have to complete this one to proceed in the game. I also almost bought but did not have enough gems, so could stop it.
