I agree with you. Also it is going to overlap with the DS World Event again. . That was very exhausting trying to keep up with 2 events at the same time.

Just focus on what you do have and can send off and make everything else. Become a producing machine. I'm also poor after lucking out with the building sale and having just enough for the ice cream maker. I'm focusing on leveling up instead of selling my money makers.

Either ways, I'm back on the wifi train and will NOT miss this event. I'm still whining about the last one, but from the mega farms I've seen I've yet to come across the cat.

This is great! I have 100 gems to burn through at the end of this, should I need to buy extra parts to turn in for collections. I had good luck with the last egg event. I got every prize available, including my kitty and puppy. So I won't whine, but will remain optimistic about this one. I just dislike having to wait for collecting around my farm and delaying train deliveries to hold out. I'm working on more gems!

But who am I kidding? I'll just buy more if needed.

Ok, from 29 baits I got 9 tickets. And two empty baits. I thought we wouldn't get those anymore? Are we really at risk of not getting anything, even fish, until this event is over? That stinks. Catfish is hard enough to come by. If I get empty bait after I make my Mardi gras bait I'll be very annoyed. Bad enough it takes 4 hours to prepare!

I'm also guessing since everyone is playing and only three tickets have been found one fishing one in mines and one from cows I would think it would be safe to assume if u don't buy the ticket both as it drops in gems u probably will have a really really hard time completing the collection. Again just my take on this and I could be wrong. Good luck to everyone. :). I can't wait to hear what u get when u turn a collection in!

I don't really like this event. I liked the birthday event better.

This even is luck based and guess what not everyone has luck . In the birthday event you could at least calculate what you needed to collect and wake up to collect in order to get the ending prize. But with this event even if you buy gems you are not given a 100% chance of getting what you want.

I will not spend gems on this event( I did on birthday event..buying extra parts I needed) this will be if I get something yay if I don't oh we'll.

Mine ticket booth went down to 120 after turning in milk and cow tickets under goals but not the 40 I saw posted earlier. Weird maybe is a random luck type thing as to whether it goes down or not. It's like the Easter egg hunt where we had to scramble for days to get those eggs and many of us got millions of fence parts and no animals.

AND.....unless the lower level players are already at the mine and pond, unfortunately, your out of luck getting tickets to compete the last two quests. That's a shame!!! I would have thought that with all the complaints last time on how the game was set up, there would have been changes. I guess not. Greed to make people spend money for gems rules again.

That's correct. When you turn in the milk you're essentially giving it away so it's removed from your barn.

So... you go mining or fishing for the next xxx days and get no benefit if you find a ticket because the collection day hasn't come yet AND you get no silver, ore, gold, anchovies, etc... This..... stinks....

The issue of different prices for a building comes up all the time in castle story. There are usually three different prices. One very low. One very high. And one some where in the middle. There is No rhyme or reason to who gets what price and the next time they offer a new building at different prices you may end up in one of the other pricing group. It's just the luck of the draw. I recall the only definite response was that the developers are always testing to see what works.

As an aside, once or twice after one of these varying price situations came up and the outcry was intense, the prices all went up to the highest price for everyone. Some got upset and stated that everyone was being punished. My suggestion : if you have a low price offer and can afford it and are thinking about getting it then do it as soon as possible just in case they raise all the prices like they did in castle story. Take it from me who lost out on the lower price by mere minutes.

You don't need to buy the ticket booth to complete collections if it is like the Easter egg hunt!
The booth will enable you to turn in collections earlier. I have the booth and am now crafting tickets. I am able to craft tickets that have not yet been released making this ticket booth seem like a terrific idea! I paid 160 gems so be it.
I think the mining anf fishing tickets got released early by mistake and I think team lava fixed their error. Is anyone still getting tickets from the mine or from fishing?

This event looks amazeballs. You really don't need to be coin rich to play. I didn't spend much of anything on the birthday event. Other then the parts and they were dirt cheap. Just focus on what you do have and can send off and make everything else. Become a producing machine. I'm also poor after lucking out with the building sale and having just enough for the ice cream maker. I'm focusing on leveling up instead of selling my money makers.

Either ways, I'm back on the wifi train and will NOT miss this event. I'm still whining about the last one, but from the mega farms I've seen I've yet to come across the cat.

Did anyone win him? The pony is adorable. I think to buy additional parts to finish should be way less.

Im choosing not to purchase it because of the massive price difference and because I don't have enough gems anyway (160). This event was so unclear to start off with because of the glitches. It took awhile to figure it out why the tickets I 'received' from mining and fishing weren't showing up in the collection. I don't mean to sound like I'm complaining because it's just a game, but that this could've been handled so much better.

So I agree I want to win prizes but why should I pay 160 gems for something others are paying 40 gems. Like I said I might need my gems for other things through out the event. Have you restarted? Mines was 160 at first, then dropped down to half that. Wasn't going to get it but said what the heck. I see now I start with the first ticket, which then allows me to craft the next one and so on and so forth. At the end I can dump it into storage or have a nifty piece of decor. Since I can buy gems on farm 2, I'll just replace the gems I used, that I was saving for another truffle hog.

I had a lot of fun with the birthday event, and I was really looking forward to this one too! But now I am really disappointed, because it is just like the Easter event. I liked that with the birthday event you actually had a chance at getting the best prize, depending on how hard you worked! With this event it is all down to random chance, which I find VERY frustrating! I worked really hard during the Easter event, and never managed to get a cat or dog. Tons of fences and flower paths though. I wish in these events there was a solid way of getting the animal prizes, not just randomly. I would even pay gems for them if there was a sure way to get them!!

I also don't think it is fair at all to have the ticket booth be 40 gems for some people! My price is 160, which I now refuse to pay knowing some people get it for 40. So unfair TL!!

I just purchased the ticket booth, but I'm level 30, and I notice an otter collection that I cannot access. Also, the ticket booth in my game is 160 gems, too rich for my blood & I have rebooted. I play CS & DS those games have sales all the time; but FS2 has never had a sale yet. I love the idea of trading up; but to only get decor I usually store. I liked the birthday event because you had set goals & knew the payoff. Right now only the #1 ticket is unlocked, so you can collect tickets only from the cows...a few lucky one could collect at the very beginning from other places, but they fixed the issue...go to your collections and you can find the tickets there...at least they should be there...as we progress, the other tickets will be unlocked...if I understand well, without the ticket booth you can only win prices at the end, when you have all kind of tickets and you can turn in your collections, and then you will have a lots of prizes...

I didn't do Easter event, have just been reading the thread here. If I understand, you are all saying it is impossible to get tickets before that day unlocks?

That is REALLY stupid. It isn't clear at all from the popup or that one quest - I thought we had to keep doing stuff around the farm and when we found each type of ticket it would unlock. I spent tools in mine, bait on fishing, etc - but I am supposed to save it til the day unlocks?? And put all this stuff in what storage waiting a week for it to unlock?

It doesn't seem very fun. I started playing again at the end of birthday event - in just a few days I had level 14 cake just from people selling parts and lots of deliveries. Not enough for house or cat, but I thought it was fun anyway. But 160 gems (I have the high cost too) just to be able to participate and get prizes? Or I wait til the end maybe get something besides floor path. Not much of a carnival, "here, sit and stare at the rides for 10 days, then you can get something too." Lol

Each day a new ticket will be released like when we had the Easter egg hunt!
The only egg unlocked right now is from collecting milk.
Today at 5:30 my time a new ticket will be unlocked. And every 24 hours after that another one so if you don't have the booth...we had no booth in the Easter egg hunt you just keep collecting tickets each day until the end of day ten and at that time you will turn in your collections for the circus prizes!

For those players who have not expanded to the pond or mine yet you will need to do so.
Ticket One is from collecting milk
Tickets two to eight are not unlocked yet so we do not know what product or animal they will come from.
Ticket nine will be from fishing
Ticket ten will be from the mine

If you have the ticket booth, you can craft all of the tickets, even the ones that are not yet unlocked.

The ticket use the tickets you got to produce other tickets.
I am collecting milk as fast as I can because I use those tickets to craft the rest.

After milking cows getting 80 milks you'll receive first set of tickets = ticket#1, fishing gives additional tickets, mining gives additional tickets. Purchase ticket booth for 40 gems. Tickets are process tickets through the collection gallery and advance as mention through ticket booth. Continue to collect tickets while milking cow this will give you additional tickets for the #1 ticket to advance through the ticket booth and collect through the collection gallery. Needed to purchase horse a pony pen for the horse.

I agree... they are ridiculously small! Proportion-wise they would probably come up to a person's knees if they were standing beside it. To be the right size for the game they need to be twice this size!

If I were to make a guess, my guess will be today's ticket #2 will come from harvesting fruit from one of the trees. In the Easter event, it was cocoa. Could be same or apple is my guess. Ticket 1 came from chickens in Easter event, this tipi me from cows... So same idea, different animal. Perhaps they took the Easter programming and with minor changes, updated it for this event. The Easter event had fishing as #9 and mining as #10... So I think they reversed those 2 goals for this event. At least it isn't truffle forest....

Only people with Ticket Booth can turn in collections now because for everyone else only ticket #1 have been released.
Every day new ticket will be opened (at 2pm Pacific time if they'll do it like last time...).

In Easter Event, all the tickets were in accessible places, except the 9 and 10 ticket, for them we needed the fishing and mining part, for this event I think it's like the past event, 'cause when we tap in the tickets in the Collection Gallery all of them say "collect from activities on the farm" and not "collect from alpacas, or Jed's old water, or truffle forest" the first 8 say from activities the last 2 say from fishing and mining.

In Easter Event, all the tickets were in accessible places, except the 9 and 10 ticket, for them we needed the fishing and mining part, for this event I think it's like the past event, 'cause when we tap int he tickets in the Collection Gallery all of them say "collect from activities on the farm" and not "collect from alpacas, or Jed's old water, or truffle forest" the first 8 say from activities the last 2 say from fishing and mining.

It is very unfair that Team Lava has selected a different pricing approach for the same item. Thus far, I have read that the ticket booth is 40 gems, 80 gems, 120 gems, or 160 gems. That’s ridiculous!! Each player should be treated equally in every aspect of the game. I’m sick and tired of the special treatment Team Lava gives to certain players. This practice is rampant with all Team Lava games, and their discriminatory/preferential practices should stop. The cost for me to purchase a ticket booth is 160 gems, and I refuse to be taken advantage of to pay four times more than other players for the same item.

Unfortunately, yes. I've turned in three collections. The first time I received a Carnival Gazebo. The second collection I received one freaking Carnival Path tile. The third collection, one freaking Carnival Path tile. :::sigh::: This game is getting ridiculous. Due to Storm 8 getting greedier.


One thing's for sure... I will never purchase any gems for this! Can you imagine doing that and turning in a collection only to receive one freaking path tile?

Me either. I got taken to the cleaners in the Easter egg hunt and once bitten, twice shy.
Spent about 50.00 and all I got was fence parts.

Got a ticket my third collection from kitchen. It was a biscuit. One biscuit before and one cornbread before have nothing so not sure if random, but if biscuits will give, being the quickest I will just keep making them.

Also on day two does this mean we can no longer get more tickets from cows so what we have is the max we will get in terms of possible collections? Or has anyone continued to get tickets from the cows? Unfortunately I had a medical treatment today that knocked me out. On bed rest now a few days so I'll have time to collect next few plenty but only managed 18 tickets from cows, not sure if that is enough.

So are we thinking that once we actually can turn in collections that we are only doing that since I found the extremely hard way that we get the same items from collections as from the goals?! I have a feeling the ticket booth will drop in price the closer we get to the end. It would only make sense as we won't have as much time to produce tickets. Maybe some got it at 40 because of a glitch, just like some were able to collect from the mine and fishing when they weren't supposed to be able to. This is just a guess of course!

I agree. They know who the players are that never spend any money in the game, and those who do. So they concentrate on those who do, and they hold out on drops/prizes and make things cost more gems for those players so that they will continue to spend more money.

I feel that during an event like this - the main item you need in order to participate should not cost ANYTHING! Everyone should be able to get the ticket booth free, or for a small amount of coins! I got mine for 40 gems. But due to an ERROR on the part of TL - I wasted 25 pick axes and shovels trying to get a ticket from the mine - which wasn't supposed to be released yet, but was for a short time. Love how they never communicate to let us know what is going on!

Basically this is how the ticket booth works:

You gather tickets from doing things around the farm just as you normally would and have been doing. But for those of you who do not have the ticket booth you have to wait till all 10 tickets are released. In the ticket booth you can manufacture other tickets with the tickets you already have. Thus being able to turn in collections faster. If you obtain ticket #1 you can use that ticket to create ticket #2. Once you have ticket #2 you can use that ticket to create ticket #3. 3 can make 4, 4 can make 5, 5 can make 6, 6 makes 7, 7 makes 8, 8 makes 9, 9 makes 10.
