Otters not working

I have collected from two otters, but the counter has not moved. Still 0 of 3. Have even tried a hard close and restart. FS2 1.7.6, ipad mini iOS 7.1.2.
Well, now that I posted this, it seems to have started working, so ignore this post.

The counter seems to only work when you get items like lobster, etc from hitting the otter. Not when you just get coins.
