I'm a bit frustrated. No diamonds. Now a fairly high level - 84. I have nothing at all to beat infinity. I have tossed nearly everything I can and no luck. Sigh. Being diamond-less is rather painful.

Any champ you have the best chance with diamond, passion, infinity, pyramid or soccer. Just keep cycling through and throw in some l1 babies while you are waiting for the others to heal :) How are you doing now ? How is Maizee ?

Absolutely. I dread the infinity round, assuming I even get past Bladewing. Half a day of losses to it already. My secondary accounts have far less trouble with champions and diamonds becayse I bred diamonds there.

I too have no Diamonds, Diamond hybrids and 1 champion (Angelfire) but I pulled through last one and so can you. Never underestimate a different approach and ask here. I got so much help. Good luck.

That would be awesome to have a unicorn! Only just managed to breed Crusader on my second account and it was by accident. So far no success on Quetzal though it only took a few minutes on my daughter's game.

Congrats, Zummat!!! But I decided I would try the turn off phone completely trick and try to reset the game. It's stupid when you can't get past a little level 14 Infinity using Epic Diamonds and Diamond hybrids! Good luck! :)

Mmm... dunno what to do now: usually I use ultimate to defeat a 10%-dragon, in this case Bronzetalon lvl 20 (round 25).

But, I still have a lot of time, tho I don't have that much time for I have a busy weekend ahead, with not much internet-connection.

After the Bronzetalon I have 4 dragons with each 25%, and against Spellthorn I have 45%. I have more than enough gold to ulti the rest of the tournament, so that's no issue.

What would you do? Try a couple of times, use ulti first try so you would have enough time for the rest?

Mmm... dunno what to do now: usually I use ultimate to defeat a 10%-dragon, in this case Bronzetalon lvl 20 (round 25).

But, I still have a lot of time, tho I don't have that much time for I have a busy weekend ahead, with not much internet-connection.

After the Bronzetalon I have 4 dragons with each 25%, and against Spellthorn I have 45%. I have more than enough gold to ulti the rest of the tournament, so that's no issue.

What would you do? Try a couple of times, use ulti first try so you would have enough time for the rest?

Try once if you dont beat it..ultimate :) depends if you really want the prize dragon :)

Anaboe : I guess it depends on how long you want to spend there. If you have the gold I would ULT now and focus on the others. R25 is a pig and I usually ultimate it almost straight away if I have the gold as I cant be doing with spending 25 hours on it !

I used the baby brigade on Infinity and Capricorn 1 took it out.

But Bronzetalon took the show today. I have bred 4 Patchwork dragons. One intentionally and 3 were fails from trying for other dragons. I sold one immediately off the nest but still had two level 1 babies and the original at level 3. I decided to just sacrifice one of the Patchwork 1 dragons and get rid of it. Well, I did that but the darn thing came so close to beating Bronzetalon I decided to use it's bigger sister in the next battle and sure enough, Patchwork 3 took care of Bronzetalon in only 2 hits! :cool:
I guess it's a good thing I have been plagued with Patchwork dragons. Lol!

Obviously I have sped up several rounds today. Only have two more go. I realized after I beat Bronzetalon that I haven't used any of my 11 champions this tournament. Not even Ninja, my favorite still, and my only epic. :)

From my experience I have noticed that using B only it is difficult to defeat the opponent in tournaments, which you can do in other arena battles. In tournaments it is probably better to use a combo of B and M. I use M generally after the first B, and if the level of damage is still not satisfactory, I use the second M, otherwise it is BMB. Against a Diamond, I prefer putting another Diamond with color advantage. Hope it is helpful to someone. Good luck to all and happy battling.

Had to post because I just beat Bladewing with level 3 athletic first time around mBb! Just an encouragement to those of you out there with no diamonds (I don't have any either at lvl75). Just be patient and keep checking in here for tips!
Great job! I am lvl100 and still have no diamond either. I beat blade ing with forest epic of all things lol. After lvl 25 it really doesn't matter even most diamond hybrids only have 25-35% chance. Well get through this one!!

From my experience I have noticed that using B only it is difficult to defeat the opponent in tournaments, which you can do in other arena battles. In tournaments it is probably better to use a combo of B and M. I use M generally after the first B, and if the level of damage is still not satisfactory, I use the second M, otherwise it is BMB. Against a Diamond, I prefer putting another Diamond with color advantage. Hope it is helpful to someone. Good luck to all and happy battling.

I find fighters that are lower in level to you will strangely be strong against M, but super weak against B. I'll just Bash my way through the first 10 rounds pretty easily, but if I try to get smart with Magic I'll stumble every now and then.

oh crud... Spellthorn tournament not starting well... Level 1 Cancer beat Epic Athletic and Landworm. It finally fell to Laserlight. I get so frustrated with these early losses I am compelled to spend gold to speed up battles. At this pace I'll need a gold sale to afford to get through 27 more battles.

Things got a lot better - only 18 losses in the first 29 rounds and only used one ultimate (against Bladewing). I got super lucky in taking down the Bronzetalon in first battle. Good luck to everyone. In case it matters... I most always use Bash, Bash, Bash (as needed).

Have you got rid of Iridescent? If not, try a green color, preferably Dawntree if you have one. Any dragon having primary color as purple is definitely weak against pink or green. In the past, I have succeeded with Flower also which has both pink and green. Emerald Knight should have done the job for you. Perhaps your opponent is really strong. Try Warden or Quetzal if you have them. Good luck.

In lower levels, one has all the advantages of stronger color, higher level and rarity. So bash is very effective. Magic has relationship basically with the color scheme. The weight of color in deciding the overall advantage is definitely higher. That is why sometimes common babies also defeat rare or super rares. Many a time, I have noticed your gut feeling also works. So also past experience. So if Ninja does good job for someone, I get similar benefits from Black Knight. Yes I am doing not too bad in both my Accounts. But the lower level Account is slightly slower this time as there are more Champion and Diamond Breeds.
Actually I was also thinking of giving up this game, but then, it is quite relaxing.
But I am running out of Habitats so Keep throwing some of the duplicates etc.
Other Team Lava games seem quite dead except for the Dragons.

I am mostly playing Clash of Clans now ! The Team Lava Kingdom Clash is not getting anywhere so I guess they need to beef it up.

Champion Breed, Passion has worked for me MMM. but not always still it has a try. sometimes I use another Champion like Amazon too, or a Diamond.

This game is pretty tough for many I know. especially if we do not have the right dragons. Even then with the right dragons it sometimes does not work, so we have to try them again. sometimes, something out of the blue suddenly works for no rhyme or reason !

It is so ridiculous. sometimes even the simplest dragon gives a lot of problems even with best options used.
It can be so frustrating for many.

Glad to know someone else had a tough time with the raven too. Bronze took about 6 tries but I've been stuck on the raven dragon for well over twice that amount. Unfortunately I only have dragons that fit the 25% chance from DS wiki and not 35%, but I'm still a bit irritated I've spent so much time on him. Ran through multiple quetzals, white chocolates, blue moons, goodwitch, independence, landworm... I'm at the point where I'm beginning to even run out of 25% options.

I was wondering if anyone had some advice on what dragon and attack combo they used to get this one down...

Granted, this may just be a case of individual bad luck ;)

Yes I am doing not too bad in both my Accounts. But the lower level Account is slightly slower this time as there are more Champion and Diamond Breeds.
Actually I was also thinking of giving up this game, but then, it is quite relaxing.
But I am running out of Habitats so Keep throwing some of the duplicates etc.
Other Team Lava games seem quite dead except for the Dragons.

I am mostly playing Clash of Clans now ! The Team Lava Kingdom Clash is not getting anywhere so I guess they need to beef it up.

Well, I would miss you if you left the game. But I'm in the same boat. I have habitats still to put down, but the mining of land parts is too slow for me, so I have no room to put down the habitats.
Anyways I'm still on Angel. I've lost 2x to him.

It is so ridiculous. sometimes even the simplest dragon gives a lot of problems even with best options used.
It can be so frustrating for many.
I did not spend much gold here because most of it went on the Spin wheel :(
Luckily I got the Sea Breeze and the Mermaid and a Raven (which I already have).

Congrats to your new dragons, Sumer! I've only managed apples and 2 maps on that wheel this time!

I would throw babies at him of you don't have a Diamond mixed in with a few epics (anyone you feel good about- then heal it). Infinity can be hard to get past without luck, but it can be done. Good luck!

Have you tried the Soccer dragon? And have you tried turning your device off completely?

aww you poor thing :( I know how you feel .. I just needed to get off the Bladewing wheel - I knew if I didnt I would get stuck for another day and I cant do that as i dont ahve enough gold to ultimate that many !!!

Its quite soul destroying sometimes :) Never mind .. lets see how things go !!
:( on infinity .. Have you tried champs ? Also triple colours ? It seems to imply also that dragons with black in their colouring might do well ...

THat is SO annoying - it happened to me ages ago on one of my other tournaments and I ended up not being able to progress as I just couldnt get R20 down ! :(

Cingrats, freesia! Try turning off your phone to see if you can reset the game. That's what I did after about 6 losses with infinity and I got it the next time with my Diamond.

Well done Lips :) Just hang on there with Bladewing - use passion, infinity, diamond metal, pyramid or soccer in all its formats - ie start with soccer and then try the others .. you will get there :) England has had a lot of success with this round - Go for it !!!

I wish ... I cant even remember how I got mine ... you could try using some really weird combos. I think i got mine with Firestorm and atlantis .. but it just never seems to work the same way twice :(

I used the baby brigade on Infinity and Capricorn 1 took it out.

But Bronzetalon took the show today. I have bred 4 Patchwork dragons. One intentionally and 3 were fails from trying for other dragons. I sold one immediately off the nest but still had two level 1 babies and the original at level 3. I decided to just sacrifice one of the Patchwork 1 dragons and get rid of it. Well, I did that but the darn thing came so close to beating Bronzetalon I decided to use it's bigger sister in the next battle and sure enough, Patchwork 3 took care of Bronzetalon in only 2 hits! :cool:
I guess it's a good thing I have been plagued with Patchwork dragons. Lol!

Obviously I have sped up several rounds today. Only have two more go. I realized after I beat Bronzetalon that I haven't used any of my 11 champions this tournament. Not even Ninja, my favorite still, and my only epic. :)

Trauma46, Aether is very good to have, especially at epic. Hope you get one soon. Do you have strong yellow/blue, yellow/purple, blue/purple hybrids? Do you have Hanukkah, Social? Easter Egg could work.

Hi everyone. I just want to share that I beat Bladewing (Round 20) with epic Water. I used magic, bash, magic & Water looked beat before the third try. I had lost 17 times before I took my neighbour's suggestion. Note- I am at level 113 so I had many dragons to try (champs, Egypt, soccer, etc all failed).

I know this won't work for everyone-but I hope it works for someone. I am getting ready for Round 21 but will be offline off & on for nearly 48 hours.

Angelfire is a champ so your best bets are pyramid, soccer or passion if you have no diamonds. You just need to keep cycling through those and in the meantime chuck a couple of level 1 babies whilst the others are in the spa :) good luck !

Well I am stuck on White Chocolate but am confident as I do ahve one dragon with a 45% chance so will just keep cycling it through. Just keep trying with your champ maizee - its not like a champ where you only have 15% chance .. with htis one you have a much higher possibility so just keep your angelfire chilled in the spa and bring her out to wallop the spellthorn !

Hi allysugne - the only thing I can think of other than going for champions, is playing to the blue element in mercury - have you got strong yellow/purple combos - ie music or something like that ? or you could try a yellow / purple gemstone such as Topaz or Amethyst ? Just a thought - freesia / Victoria - how have you beaten Mercury in the past without diamonds ?

MB means the person posting used Magic first and then Bash in the tournament fight they were taking part in :)
Sometimes people use +++ to show that attack scored a critical hit, sometimes they used lower case and upper case to show the differences - good luck :)

Try attacking the blue element of Mercury. Purple/yellow etc. I beat it with Trickster. Good luck!

Yes, you can. You just need patience and lots of luck with the champion-type dragons. Try attacking the black element in it if you can. Use babies and heal your better dragons (passion, diamond, Infinity, Soccer, Egyptian) if you have them. Any dragon can take it out. Good luck.
