What are the items, catalogues and themes missing from your boutique? Let us know what is needed to make it on trend, classic etc. Your suggestions on items, themes and catalogues maybe included in the next poll in two weeks. You may vote for more then one item.

Note: It's great to see how passionate everyone is about fashion and their suggestions. Everyone's got their own style and opinions (and don't always agree with other people's taste/style). Lets keep the feedback constructive - if there's something you don't like you can explain what you don't like about it. Even better you can say how you'd change it to make it something you'd like.

Sorry for the delay in getting this up. There's just been a lot of stuff happening in real life that has limited my time.
I also wanted to address some of the comments/concerns from the beginning of the old thread.
First thing- these polls are put together to give players a chance to say what they want in the game. Just because something's on the poll doesn't mean it will make it into the game. Also just because something doesn't make it onto the poll doesn't mean that it won't make it into the poll.
Second - having to put together polls or votes to see what will make it into the poll doesn't make sense given the number of suggestions put through. Polls can have a max of 13 items so there would be multiple polls to put toes ether the poll which people would have already effectively voted on. If you see an idea that you like, say so in the thread. The more support for an idea the more likely it is to be included in the poll.
Third - I get that people put a lot of time and effort into their suggestions and that it can be annoying if they don't get included. If I'm running sort on options for a poll (while using my criteria) I do sometimes go back to earlier threads and use suggestions from them.
Fourth - what criteria do I use? It's certainly not just stuff that I like or would wear. It wouldn't be fair if I did that and it'd get pretty boring. As more polls have been done my criteria has become refined over time. I try to balance the competing interests - eg girls vs more edgy, street wear vs high fashion etc. if there's enough ideas I'll also try to balance clothes with decorations and avatar items. I also try to balance so that the suggestions come from different people. There are some people who do appear in a number of polls but that's because they're posting a lot of ideas and the ideas have public support. Which leads back to the point that the more support an idea has the more likely it is to be included. I know I've gone back and revised polls to take out something I like to replace it with something I don't like but lots of people do. (Note this isn't a judgement just a reflection on different tastes).
Fifth - the polls aren't thrown together in a quick rush. I go through the first time and pull out ideas. I then go through a couple of other times to make sure I've balanced things. So all up it can (and does) take over an hour to put together.

I know you wanted a jumpsuit but I think there were jumpsuits in 2 of the last 3 polls. If you get more support I'm sure they'll make it into a future poll.
I like most of the suggestions above. Not the Electra Heart catalog I wanted (wanted one of her more mature looks) but I'm glad Likes a Little Danger made it, it's also pretty Electra Heart but it's one of her darker looks.

How cool wd it be to have a fountain that really spouts water! Or a shop cat or dog that really walks atound! Or a holiday tree that sparkles and rotates! Or for Halloween a mummy that really walks around like a zombie! Or what about candles that really flicker! Anything is possible! Some animations wd be great!

Love the new cameras and the mud masks, so more things like that! Any cosmetic items such as perfume/makeup/nailpolish etc. also wd love to see things like key chains, candles, cell phone cases, or even books! Stores like Anthropologie sell all of these. Greeting card display that customers can really purchase from (that we have to keep stocked). Around the holidays it wd be great to see a coffee display and we can put out coffee, tea, goodies that customers can actually buy.

I'd also like to see some more eye and lip styles and colors. The ability to change eye colors would be cool, since each makeup style comes in only one eye color.
Some socks/leggings (like the vampire skirt, but without the skirt part) would be nice too. (:

We so need more lip styles and colors. The choices now are quite limited. What about face makeup (like blush or bronzer)?

Heck yeah! Medieval would be great seeing as GoT is so popular right now. I know there's been a few princess\fantasy themes in the past, but nothing truly middle ages. No knights in shining armour or damsels in towers. Would be cool to see a renaissance fair display. It doesn't really fit in with my existing beach, gym and japanese garden themes, but I'm sure I'll find a small corner for it :)

No to the Medieval theme :/ I don't find Medieval fashion to be quite appealing. Unless of course TL will do a modern Medieval catalog. Just like the Baroque dresses in the previous thread, it's a modern take on Baroque fashion. How about we have a modern take on Medieval fashion?

Well there was someone who said they liked it. Also feedback on another one of the suggestions indictated that there was support for a look that mixed a bit of feminity with a little harder edge. I put in your suggestion as it also covered that feedback.

I was beyond thrilled! It was just such a coincidence that you mentioned that. One of my neighbors hates it! So I told her to blame me for the jumpsuit, yet taunted her by posting on her wall, "I got my jumpsuit, I got my jumpsuit!" Lol.

A big thing I really want to see is a greater representation of different races among the mannequins and displays. I'm not sure if this has ever made it into the suggestion thread, but I have seen this request in the update threads. Most of the mannequins are caucasian, with about two or three of them being of a different race. In fact recently there were three consecutive weeks were the mannequins were all blonde. All I'm asking for is some diversity, especially among the couples displays. Every couple display we have has a caucasian couple. I want to see some couples of different races, interracial couples, and variety of races in the mannequins. Also if we could get away from basic hair colors like blonde. We should have mannequins with red hair, black hair, dyed hair etc.

Love all 3 of these! This is my favorite black leather jacket posted that I have seen in a suggestion thread. Also adore the peach shift dress with the blue border print, so pretty!

At least I was being constructive to the idea and not completely tearing it apart, unlike some. I was finding a way for it to appeal to me more and most probably others too. If TL stuck with a traditional Medieval theme, then fine whatever.
By the way, I'm so happy we finally got a jumpsuit!!!! Now if only we got more 70s looking jumpsuits with bellbottom legs, that'd be great.

I agree with the previous posts about the racial diversity of the mannequins. I want to see mannequins with different colored hair and hairstyles. The majority have blonde or brown hair in a bun or let down loose.

Yes please! I also want to see style diversity in the displays. Girls (and guys maybe) with dip-dyed, ombre hair. Hair the colors of the rainbow. Outfits that aren't just either glamour or casual. And can we also experiment with poses please? Thanks :)

The new teaser has reminded me to say: I'd like to see more plaid. Plaid clothing, but maybe plaid decorations, too. I was going to say plaid wallpaper, but that might be a bit much. I don't know. I just like plaid. :)

A big thing I really want to see is a greater representation of different races among the mannequins and displays. I'm not sure if this has ever made it into the suggestion thread, but I have seen this request in the update threads. Most of the mannequins are caucasian, with about two or three of them being of a different race. In fact recently there were three consecutive weeks were the mannequins were all blonde. All I'm asking for is some diversity, especially among the couples displays. Every couple display we have has a caucasian couple. I want to see some couples of different races, interracial couples, and variety of races in the mannequins. Also if we could get away from basic hair colors like blonde. We should have mannequins with red hair, black hair, dyed hair etc.
I back this one hundred percent. I too have been asking and hoping for this for quite some time, and will continue to repeat it until we see it.
Secondly, I will again bring up the suggestion of having an additional shop. Some people have too much stuff for one shop! I hope to see this happen as well.

Hi everyone, just a comment, I really love the Antique chic, crotchet cozy, and De invierno, it's just my style, but I don't think people is really liking it, so I don't think it will be the next fashion story update...:( I wish it was, it is good to have a variety of styles, so everyone can enjoy it...Maybe we can take the 3 most voted and update 3 designs in a week,0? That'll be great, coz I'm getting kinda impatient when it comes to the updating, sometimes I feel disappointed, sometimes I'm good with it, and sometimes...YAYYYYY!!!! :cool:

If you click on a picture you want to link, and get a drop down menu, go to 'properties", then highlight and copy that URL, and paste it into the img box here. Uncheck the get from remote location box. That is how I do it, there may be other ways.

Let me try and explain one more time.
Find the picture online that you'd like to link.
Right click on it to get a drop down menu.
Select the "properties" option, it is generally at the bottom of the menu.
Find the "Address (URL)", and copy the entire thing, starting with "Http" and ending in .jpg or another file type.
Highlight that URL and COPY it (either by pressing Ctrl+V or on a tablet by pressing until you get another drop down menu and select copy).
NOW go to Fashion Story forums, thread you want to post in.
When you click the "Insert Image" icon in a post on this forum, you will get a pop-up box.
Select the "From URL" box. (NOT the From computer box)
PAST your URL into the empty box. Paste by Ctrl+p or by pressing for drop down menu and select paste.
UNCHECK "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" box, then click the OK box, and it should link it properly.
Post your message, and it should be a large img!

Hmm, not sure what you mean about the drop down menu. They don't cost money, they are just part of how computers work. I've never used an apple computer or device before, but I assume they also allow you access to menus. I've even used different versions of Ubuntu, and right clicking gives you a menu.
Here are some screenshots of what I'm doing to get the large image. If it is something you have downloaded to your computer, then you need to put the picture in Photobucket or Picasa or some other free web album site first. But once there, the directions are the same. So you select the image (right click, or on a tablet or phone, just press and hold until you get a menu), get a menu from your image and select "Properties", which should bring up something that looks like this:

If you don't have a properties option, you should instead have a "Copy img URL" button on the menu, or something similar. Mine actually lists the URL at the top of the drop down menu after pressing and holding.
You'll see I have the URL highlighted, then I copy that, come to this site, and put it in the thread of my choice. The Insert Image box should look like this:

Notice how I've UNCHECKED the retrieve remote file box.

Just testing doing this from my device instead of my PC, seems to work fine to press and hold on img, brings up a menu with the option "copy link url", then pasting it in here using the exact same technique as from my PC.

Hi Cat13793, i use photobucket. you can download the app. then upload a picture.
once its in your album click in that picture and you will see a little chain link icon at the top. that brings up a menu, you click on IMG code and copy.
Then come back into this forum and paste the link. The photo will then appear big.
It sounds a bit complicated but once you get the hang of it, it's super simple :)

I like the second outfit also with the plaid skirt. Very classy. But I've got to love the "Jersey girl" dress. Your "color me autumn" outfit is nice, but I like the jacket on the model better than the one pictured on the right. Not a fan of the sort of handkerchief hem on a short skirt though. Otherwise it's cute.

Some sweaters and cardigans would be great. The ability to wear a cardigan over a dress or top would be really good. The first sweater reminds me of the one we have from the old winter (?) version. I so love the teal bag. The crocheted flats are cute. I own them in black.

Of course I realize that TL uses my suggestions but not the suggestions that come from my interest. Second, I adore the structured dress, mermaid, and couture garden here, and I like many of your suggestions. I rarely say anything negative about thins, I only agreed with angelmama because I REALLY disliked those, and TL needs to know if we have strong feelings of like or dislike, this is one of the ways they create the polls and pick our suggestions.
Third, you have many suggestions of yours they have put in the game, a few of which you admit are ones you really did love. The majority of us do not have that privilage. Yet you have the audacity to threaten not to make more suggestions unless you get what YOU want (Electra heart), even though you promptly continued offering suggestions, and Electra Hearts has not garnered much support from other players. AND you tell us all that none of us think outside the box, very rude and spoiled behavior.
This kind of behavior on the forums is very hurtful and not productive. People are allowed to not like your suggestion without being insulted or belittled by you.

Anyway, I love Winter Rose. The color contrast is eye popping and I just absolutely love the rose embroidery. However, I do think this would fit more into the New Years Eve catagory but generally I do agree that this should be a winter gown.

I think Steampunk has really hit a stride in popularity recently, and could be lots of fun (as well as somewhat matching some of the Victorian themed stuff already in the game). Here are some that focus more on the steam, and one that is more on the Victorian punk.

Honestly, me too!! But I did not think many other people would like it as more than a costume. A theme with a mannequin, LTO, floor and wall d?cor, tables racks etc. would be very fun. If they do that, I hope they include a guy. A matching steampunk male/female mannequin like the mobster couple we just got would ROCK! Something like this:

I know it's getting close, so I would like to suggest some Halloween costumes. I think Steampunk has really hit a stride in popularity recently, and could be lots of fun (as well as somewhat matching some of the Victorian themed stuff already in the game). Here are some that focus more on the steam, and one that is more on the Victorian punk.

Oh, this is really pretty! We need some hot pink, though I agree with the person above me the jacket misses a bit. Might be better as a bolero or something. The clutch is super cute! More hot pink please! :)
Thanks jewel, but like I said, the dress is not even in production yet. It's a work in progress. When I get a pic of the completed design, I shall post it. And yes, I said a bolero would work better.

Since the steampunk stuff is so very popular a suggestion, I found some steampunk ideas with couples. Looking at the sort of dystopian/Mad Max versions of it instead of the utopian ones. We are getting a lot more couples lately, and they also seem pretty popular with the players.

I am in love with this dress! The foliage upper part with the ombre orchid skirt just makes it so mystic and nature-y but also giving the dress a sense of elegance and beauty.
I would really love to see this on the game :D

I love the goth steampunk and fantasy suggestions. I'd really like to see a fantasy or fairy theme, it'd be a great addition to the game.

No one is being hard on her. People just want a new poll. It says every two weeks, but it has been two months. The longer and longer these polls go past the stated guidelines, the harder it is to choose what actually goes in the polls. Going through 19 pages is daunting. And the more pages there are, the less suggestions that get added, and the more that will become disgruntled if their suggestions aren't being recognized. Believe, we have all seen it happen.

A big thing I really want to see is a greater representation of different races among the mannequins and displays. I'm not sure if this has ever made it into the suggestion thread, but I have seen this request in the update threads. Most of the mannequins are caucasian, with about two or three of them being of a different race. In fact recently there were three consecutive weeks were the mannequins were all blonde. All I'm asking for is some diversity, especially among the couples displays. Every couple display we have has a caucasian couple. I want to see some couples of different races, interracial couples, and variety of races in the mannequins. Also if we could get away from basic hair colors like blonde. We should have mannequins with red hair, black hair, dyed hair etc.
Just going to reiterate this. Hope to see this happen.

There's the pink palm tree, there's a pink stuffed cat in one of the chests, and a pink lolita dress too... No they aren't all packed into a pink chest, but I have seen many pink items ... that doesn't mean we can't have more though :D

I agree that's a girly game and we don't have a lot of pink cute stuff. Not even one pink dress in the closet (I mean like hot pink not pale almost white pink like 2-3 we have)No pink deco items for coins. No pink tiles for coins.No mannequin wearing pink.I've said so many times that we need more pink in the game.But no one's listening anyway.
