Definitely goals with the appliances! Another nautical theme, but fine by me since I really liked the last one. That boat will look great on some water with the Fishing Pier! The wallpaper is pretty nice too. :cool:

And we get another "person" to add to your restaurant! I like having random characters to use as I see fit, especially for extra podiums.

Update s in!!!! Yay! First food takes 5 hours to make and the new oven doesn't require any parts to make so that's a nice new change. I didn't get a full look yet because I had to come here and let you all know that the update is in lol

Although it's a nice goal..I'm kinda tired of bk to bk goals..esp when I'd like to decorate way I want but why bother when another goal comes...lol

Back to back goals are what keep most players playing. You can opt out of any set of goals you like, I do. I don't do every set of goals TL releases. Some players have all recipes on every appliance mastered so goals are the only thing that keeps them from uninstalling the game.

Yep, I love the goals too and I do opt out on some that don't appeal to me.

There's no parts for the stove = nice.
Best I can see is the next is a fish stand - I too would love to know what parts will be needed for that - I could get a head start
sending them to my neighbors.

right after i put away all my water/cruise stuff! doesn't that just figure. oh well, still doing the goals, just not redecorating for them right now. do think the prizes are cute though! thank you for a character (even if "river boat captain" isn't as useful as another cook would be). i like the counters with the life preservers too.

and of course skipping goals is always an option, but i always think it's better to do the bare minimum to complete them (buy required decorations and immediately revert to whatever you've got now, cook just the required number of servings) even if you're not interested. not just because you want to get the recipes unlocked for gem-earning potential, but because you never know when you might change your mind about owning something you didn't think at first you'd want. and because seeing locked things in the decor tab is always annoying.

I'm one of those who have mastered everything on all the stoves and wait for the once-a-month goals.

Unless someone skips thru with gems we have to wait until all 3 required recipes are cooked to find out the parts for the fish market. I always gift parts to my neighbors and expect the same from them so I have over a hundred each of the most common parts and close to that on the other most frequently used parts. Needless to say I have some awesome neighbors and they're one of the reasons I still play.

@twospoons. You took the words right out of my moth and typed them lol. I rarely use goal decor (basket ball goals, anyone?) but I always do them for gems and I agree 100% I hate when things are locked!

It was probably a glitch. It says 6 red gear and 4 wagon wheel on my android. Even the fish stand have parts now.

I'm sure someone will post soon when all 3 recipe requirements on the first appliance are met. I'll be collecting my crab dip in 6 hours so it's awhile before I'll know. Unless someone skips through we all have to wait.

I'm quite happy that these new recipes have longer times. Many of us work and one and two hour recipes are next to impossible to monitor. Three hour recipes are difficult, but because i have six hours to get to them it is less of a challenge. I made a suggestin in another thread recently that, in order to prolong the time period taken to complete the goals, the recipe times be longer. I am really happy that TL did that this time. :) I have mastered every recipe in my restaurant and so am glad that these will take me a bit longer to master.


What r the parts for second oven?

I never understand this question. What is the rush? Why can players not wait until they finish one string of goals before they start worrying about the other string of goals? There is more than enough time to complete the goals, so why the rush to get them done as quickly as possible and then complain about the lack of things to do in the game?

I was so confused this morning when I got a ton of wagon wheels. I thought it was for the 2nd oven since the 1st one didn't need any. So glad I always start goals as soon as possible so I could get the coin only ones. I only got 6 though since I'm okay with longer wait for more decoration money. Extra ovens are extra tables and chairs. :-/

Agreed bobbyrae. I like the longer cook times too but I think they are going to be very difficult for lower level players that
don't have parts stored or a lot of coins to buy multiple stoves to complete the recipes in time.

I accept any gift from my neighbors so I have plenty of the parts needed for this stove. I did buy 4 at the start.
I might buy 1 or 2 more ovens at some point but I'm in no rush to complete. I do want to know what the parts
for the fish stand are going to be - would be kinda fun to see a new part added to the list.
We do have over 30 days to complete these goals.

I've gotten a couple of requests for Fish Hooks so that's one of the parts it needs. You can't gift it though so you will only be able to collect them from requests.

Fish stand takes 8 Metal Sheets, 6 Paint, 4 Screws & 2 Wiring each to build. Thought I'd post it here in case people had been working off of this update thread instead of the goal thread.

For players with fewer available appliance slots and fewer neighbours sending parts to build those appliances, it takes a while to complete the goals. Sometimes they use up the entire period of time allocated for the goal. For those of us with more appliance slots, hundreds of parts stored up or really good neighbours who send us the requested parts, we can usually complete goals in a week or less. So for us the goals never run into each other, but for those other players they sometimes do....so they appear to be "back to back".

I buy 5 ovens, that is enough to finish the first goal. For the second I have so many parts left....I going to buy 10. I just looked in my inventory, of every part I have over 100, so that is cleaning up!

I always buy 20 ovens for every oven... I bought all 20 of mine at once right when the golas came out and I was thinking that Is was awesome I didn't need parts for this one!! But I keep getting red gears and wagon wheels for gifts so I jumped on here to see what I was missing... nothing :-D I just got lucky!!
