Arctic Isles Mining?

I just noticed that there is a mine entrance at the south end of the main island - complete with rail tracks and visible pink crystals. I haven't expanded to that part of the Arctic Isles but I'm wondering is this new? and is it functioning?

I wonder if you have all 19 dragons if you can mine for new dragons once it is working. It would be nice to be able to mine for cool dragons there.

I have all arctic dragons, plus Glacius and they are all epic.

Mine has not opened, nothing new on arctic isles :(

That's what I'm wondering. Did they just scrap the whole thing? There hasn't been an update in forever.. And there are still tons of glitches.

Yes, it's a joke.

Tthe Arctic Isle, as a mine, yes, but it's only a decor, there's no Dragon Story 2. This player, is making a reference to Fantasy Forest Story, it's a game almost exactly to DS, it has the same mechanism, I know this because on this game, the diamond type from there is the legendary element and the name of the animal is Crystal Unicorn.

It's normal, that's only a decor, it's there since it was released I think.

i am also wondering about the mine in artic isle. i am also about to go broke feeding these hungry dragons. it cost alot for the food. i have four dragons i have reached to level 10. i still have a long way to go. i wish there was an easier way to get food. ;)

I treated my arctic isles as just a pass-the-time occasional visit. I never was earning enough coins to be able to keep crops growing all of the time - so I just took it slow and easy. You'll get there eventually.

I treated my arctic isles as just a pass-the-time occasional visit.
Many of my neighbors have abandoned their Arctic islands incompleted coz of impossibility to breed Diamond hybrids.
I've succeeded to breed 17 dragons except for 1 - it's a Snowangel. I'm trying for it since November. I changed Quetzal/Blizzard combo for Diamond/Blizzard just after Christmas. Still nothing.... 3 times a day by 90 days makes 270 tries.
I'm just giving up :(

BTW, I don't have any problems with coins. All my dragons are epic. I'm not very sure but I think it cost me around 100 million coins to make them epic. Decorations are poor but expensive.
