Expansion and deleting neighbor

Hi,
I has this neighbor and he is really annoying. I was wondering if I delete him, will I lose my expansion? Like, does my bakery will be smaller? I'm only at my first expansion and he is my only neighbor.

Nothing will happen except he won't be your neighbor anymore. Delete away.
