Stuck and can't move on case #8 Unconventional

I am at case #8 Unconventional level. I have completed Lindsey's Lair, X-Con and Crashed Van. I need a star to move to the next clue but there is no way for me to get a star to unlock the next scene. Advise please. I have attached a pic of my screen. I have replayed scenes but do not get another star.

I think I figured it out from other posts...I have to go back to prior cases and earn another badge?

You are correct, you will need to go back to previous scenes to earn Badges to open up the other scenes.
