I got it too! I like to use the magic fruit for trades so it's a good return for me.

I bought it too as I like the idea of being able to use the other 2 trades that use the magic fruit. It allow me to do different trades without milking my poor cows to death. And it's very pretty! I'm glad I bought it even though I had lots of fruit before I got the tree. If you have 2 wizard schools (which should be a priority especially as your levels increase) then it's a good spend.

I bought two! :)
I am the same, I like to do the trades that use the magic fruit, but had to stop because I was running out of them.

I would propose spending the gems on a living wood tree which has a far higher necessary burn rate than magic fruit which so far is only used for the trade.

Sorry for the stupid question but what does magic fruit have to do with cows/milk?

They are all items used for trades in the Royal Exchange.

I really want to get it because of the 20 gem discount, but I also think a wizard school would be more useful.

No, that's not silly, but me writing too late at night and not expressing myself clearly! I just meant that I do the trade with milk and eggs a LOT and because I have the magic tree now, I can do other trades and allow my cows to have a break from being milked every 10 minutes. Given the magic tree is a constant source of magic fruit I can do those trades as well now more frequently. I hope I haven't confused you even further! Haha

I got it...but I'm beginning to wonder why lol
If magic fruit aren't required in an upcoming update/quest, then I just made an impulse buy cuz it's cute lol (otherwise, I stay close to maxed on 'em & usually only do the fruit trade to KEEP from going over the max) ... So yeah, I'm hoping magic fruit AND glimmerbulbs are used for something besides the Exchange soon.

I dont plan on ever buying this tree. I have no use for Magic Fruit. The trades are not appealing to me at all. The energy one needs 60 strawberries, which i am always planting and using for sweet feasts. Then the fruit trade needs 50 mushrooms which i am always low on due to making tons of Vital Extract. I swear half my energy goes into collecting mushrooms lately. What i would like is a good source for mushrooms. I dont even collect much from my 10 glimmerdust troves as they dont give me what i really want.

I don't do the fruit trade and have plenty of magic fruit, but I'm pondering whether to buy the tree cos I think it's quite a pretty looking thing. But then again, a lot of items in CS are pretty lol. ^_^

The good thing about the fruit trade is that it gives you golden apples every 3-4 times. Of course, now that I have enough golden apples to trade I run short of gold nuggets ....

No problem. I was a little confused because I thought there was another trade that involved milk for energy. I thought I was missing something. LOL

Now it's these dang glimmerbulbs I'd like to be able to use, without using them in the stupid magic fruit trade (don't want to lose my precious strawberries)

Thanks everyone. I ended up caving and got the tree. Already have 2 wizard schools. So I dunno. Gems burn my pocket. Lol. Now just trying to figure out if I should get a 2nd harvest pergola!

I have two pergolas, and I think it does help. Sometimes you get feasts, and also a regular supply of noodles and whatnot. This morning I collected and got 2 water, so you can't win all the time. :)

Can you get a second pergola? Cannot access my game at the monent, but if I'm not mistaken you can only purchase one pergola. Only if your existing pergola comes from crafting you can purchase another one. If so, you're lucky and congrats :)

If I'm wrong I'm going to do a happy dance. Would LOVE to have two of them beauties.

Not getting it either unless I have a windfall of gems. Got the living wood tree which is one of the best buys ever, I can stop collecting white petals finally.

I don't do the fruit trade as I can't undersyand why I would trade rare magic fruit for regular fruit, I remember one time I did it I got stuff like tomatoes!! I am not short of golden apples, I have four apples trees that I could collect from more often if I wanted to. I do trade in for gems but it is nuggets that are harder to get. Then I used to do the rare fruit trade but have stopped since it isn't worthwhile either

Not me. The magic fruit trade requires an insane amount of strawberries and glimmer bulbs. That's energy better spent elsewhere imo.

I'm happy saving up my magic fruit for now, at 35 or so. If I max out ill do the trade with it.

I'm maxed out and still won't do the trade. Ridiculous amounts of things for little in return. I do have the tree, cos it's pretty! :)

magic fruit tree is not much useful to me, only thing is the trade where i need strawberry for feast, and also mushrooms for vital extract (and pasta, hopefully). so my magic fruit stock remains 99 since 2 months ago...

need.mushroom.tree. (very badly)

I got the tree and I like it. As others mentioned, it's nice to have just for being pretty. But it lets me do the Rare Fruit Trade twice as often. The way I look at that trade is that most trades cost a significant amount of energy to get anyway, so why not do the ones that give me something useful in addition to the trade ticket? - like the ones that get me energy. I DO do the milk & eggs one but other than the trade ticket, the results are pretty useless. The trades that get you the most-useful stuff actually COST trade tickets, so that is going backwards.

Anyway, I like my tree but I am no longer giving this company another dime of my money on a matter of principle, so it may the LAST significant gem-bought item in my kingdom so it's a darn good thing I like it, lol.

I got it because I like the tree in my royal garden, now the drops are just a sweetie to round the day. Same for the living wood, although I don't really need it.

For me the living wood tree is higher priority. You need a lot of living woods and I keep the royal exchange going with milk and eggs.

I'm on a quest titled "Your're hot and You're cold" I need to tend a magic fruit tree, and then it says underneath, (You do not have to purchase this!) So please tell me how to tend this tree, as I just used up all my gems on the 12 days of Christmas.

You don't have to purchase it. Let the timer expire. Most players, including me, waited the timer out until the goal expired in 2 days, I think.
