Monster stuck at Glimmergate

I have a monster stuck at Glimmergate (a person) and when I try to click on him to fight him it doesn't work. Because of this I'm not getting any other monsters and can't complete some goals where I need to get boars. Could anybody help with this?

Hello Mary, I visited your kingdom and it is a glimmergolem. If you can't hit him because he stands on a piece of land you didn't expand to, try to force close your game and try it again. Good luck!

Try tapping all around him, everywhere from his ears to his toes. I once had a fangbeast pop up on the very edge of my place, and I finally got ahold of him by tapping just baaarely past the tip of his tail. Tricky little snot. =P
