In short, yes; but actually, no. As a result of TL's server's error, when you reach level 100 then you'll get blocked out and can't access your game anymore! Therefore TL is doing everything they could to stop people from reaching level 100 to ensure that the game is open for everyone.

The funny thing is that at least two players (3 bakeries) were at level 100 and played perfectly well for quite a while. Then, all of a sudden, out of nowhere, they were locked out of the game and xp taken from them and they were told something about the game locking them out blah blah blah...but that xp continues to accrue for the rest of us blah blah blah so that if ever the level cap is raised players will level up faster because of the accrued xp. Something like that. It didn't make sense then and still doesn't make sense now. So the answer is no. There is no level 100. Don't work towards it. It doesn't exist. If you do accrue enough points to get you there you will lose all the extra points and will drop back down to level 100.
