A little concerned

My island just keeps on growing and growing to the point where my iPad just couldn't hardly play the game anymore (would force close a lot) so about a month ago I bought an iPhone 5s and it has run very smoothly up until yesterday when it force closed for the first time. I'm worried that the game is just getting large for any device to handle.

I also have a iPhone 5s.
If I leave my game running when not playing (for over 2-4 hours) sometimes when I come back to play it will force close.
Make sure you close out your game when done playing, or if you come back and it has been running, just force close the game.

Also for some reason if your game keeps force closing and you cannot open the game, go to settings-safari and clear out cookies/data.

In addition to what kooky panda suggested, please close out other apps running in the background of your game before you start playing. Thanks!
