Royal Points

Is it possible for you to increase the royal points? I had to sell off royal items to get my Rose Arch from the Greenhouse. Then I had to sell off more royal items to purchase the Sunflower Arch.

I've been playing since the game came out and I can't be the only one this has happened to.
