The other one is the Ancient Dragon (light, yellow, green). I won that one, 2600 food, 250,000 coins and a Forestfire. Figured I'd better stop after I received the ancient. I'd really like the blue peacock though. I like this wheel better than the past version.

I read that the spins used to be 10 gold; I'm glad they're 30 now because it's easier for me to resist. I love this and hope they do it more often!! :D

I like this feature but I don't think it's better than a mini tournament...I like them both. With the mini tournament I could choose whether or not to participate as to not end up with duplicate dragons. That's the only thing I don't like about the wheel, the possibility of duplicates. Other then that, spin on!

Instead of 5 drags they only have 3 and more coin options. Maybe TL thinks new users need more coins.

I never won a dragon on any of the Wheel's previous appearances, so it would have been a wonderful shock to get Forestfire on my first spin this time ... except I already had this dragon.
I'm guessing from this point on, there will be coins and apples on the wheel for me; or maybe more Forestfires; or Ethereal, which I fought not one, but TWO blasted tournaments to win because the tournament feature malfunctioned the first time it was generally released and the original Ethereal tournament got cancelled.
Bah! I'm not gonna raise my hopes for Steampunk, Ancient or Blue Peacock. Prove me wrong, TeamLava. I hate your wheel with a passion.

Blue Peacock isn't actually expired. In fact, it was never even released. We first saw it as a challenger in the Bronzetalon tournament last week.
Come to think of it, we also fought Panda dragon (likewise not released) in that tournament. Why isn't Panda on the Wheel too?

This is an awesome spin wheel! I missed my chance with Ancient earlier as it was a value pack only option, but then I got it with my first spin! A long long time ago I spent about 200 gold on the spin wheel in a fit of rage, but now I feel like it's all water under the bridge :) Would be even sweeter if I could nab a blue peacock. Luck seems to be a lot better than the original wheel, and you have more dragons to choose from.

30 gold per spin is a bit steep though, and it doesn't seem to be directly proportional to the countdown time remaining. Would be nice if we could "speed up" our next spin.

You have to spin it "fast". Swipe your finger across and release. If you hold your finger on it, move finger too slow, and take finger off it doesn't spin.

I got 30 gold twice, 700 apples twice, and blue peacock so far. I decided to respond the times I got 30 gold since that basically made it a free spin.

Hm, that's weird. If mine is synced it doesn't usually glitch unless I walk up my stairs & lose the wifi. :/ And yet I still take screen shots when I get a cool egg or beat a hard opponent.

I don't like this set up of resetting the free spin timer with every purchased spin. My strategy for coping with it is going to patiently wait and claim all my free spins until the last day. Wow, a slot machine I can play on my iPhone! (TL you've found my weakness). I've been bummed about not having a Steampunk because it seems to come up a lot as a top battler in the arena and I didn't have any of the other dragons on the wheel - so I convinced myself I'd be wise to invest in a Chest of Gold. Many spins later... I still don't have a Steampunk but I did get one each of Ancient, Ethereal, Blue Peacock, a whole bunch of Forestfires, some food, coins, and two maps.

At this point, I'm looking a 1 in 12 chance of getting a Steampunk from any spin of the wheel - so it doesn't make sense to keep paying to play but I'm pretty sure I won't be able to resist. I'm hoping for another gold sale.

All my accounts get, regardless of spin technique or gold expenditure, is coin. I have well over 100 million coins. I would like the ancient dragon, which I do NOT have. But.... That is the "luck" factor, of which I am in short supply.

The "trick" to successfully "spinning" the wheel is to put your finger on the wheel, slide it down quickly and remove your finger almost immediately as you slide. There is no "slow spin" or "fast spin" or "heavy" or "light" touch "calculated" spinning available in this particular feature. It is binary - off/on, spinning/still. All you can do is a quick slide and release and the "luck" randomly takes over.

It spun, slowed, stopped on an ancient dragon, then slowly REVERSED and spun back to stop on ForestFire. (A dragon of which I have 3). The second account also stopped, stopping on a dragon (I will take any in that account!), reversed and stopped back on 400 food.

What gives? I realize the program rigs the wheel, but stopping and reversing direction, then stopping in an abrupt jerk as if brakes had been applied is just plain weird - and wrong!

I wouldn't say that's a terrible outcome. I can't find the gazebo in my market anymore, but I think i remember it costing something like 80 gold to buy. 10 gold a spin is also pretty cheap, mine is 30 gold a spin!

Maybe it's to do with you connection at the time. The wheel might need to talk to the server to select the prize so it could stick or stutter while it's doing this. Like how battle arena sometimes resets after or halfway through.

My forest fire is an awesome battler too! He's only second to my Lightning. Both of these are my elite special forces (if you discount the champions).

I am not surprised it is rigged as a lot in the game is; it's just obvious with this wheel when you can see it is not spinning freely and landing on a random item.

I am not going to spend any gold on it.

I can understand why a lot of people are upset. I don't think it's rigged per se, TL have just got a few bugs sync-ing up the animation with the underlying lottery or server comms. Your spin result is probably decided the minute you touch the wheel, it's just the animation that's gone wrong somewhere along the way. so the reversing wheel is actually the animation trying to correct itself.

I don't really understand how they could get it wrong since they've used the wheel before. That said in past incarnations, there's usually only one really good prize and most of the other options are duds.

My epic forest-fire has won more battles in the arena than probably all other dragons combined.. It is a great dragon to have.

I already have an epic forestfire - have had 2 of them forever. It's just disappointing that I keep getting what I already have. I use mine a lot in arena too. I really would like something else. :)

Sounds like me. I have 4 champs and the same diamonds you do. Interesting how that combination which we have for many seems to work for you. I will give it a shot next tourney. My FF is already at level 6 because it evolves so quickly. Paying 864 at level 6 for a super is not so awesome compared to others I have like Vampire, Rune, Night Elf etc..

Some dragons I keep for the money, some for battles even though they pay bad. Forestfire is great for battles, slightly tougher than landworm.

Bought 7 extra spins since the start, got:
forestfire, 30 gold, 2500 apples, forestfire, 250,000 coins, forestfire, and 2 maps, 700 apples, 2 maps, forestfire, forestfire - up to 5 forestfire in storage. They will likely stay there forever since I already have 2 on my island and don't need any red/green gems from trading.

I got both that I wanted, Blue Peacock and Ancient. I have all the others already. I also got a Forest Fire, which I'll keep in storage until the next time I need to fill a nest. I've also gotten a couple of maps, 5200 food, more food, and coins once.
I also won 30 gold a couple of times, which convinced me to keep going, and that's when I got Dragons.

Hey TL!!! Real lame and not customer friendly to have the timer reset on the wheel when you purchase spins!! You just lost real money with that move. The timer for the free spins should have nothing to do with the purchases of the spins. I didn't notice it until now because I had been purchasing a few extra spins after my free one but now I thought about doing a few half way through the countdown and now I basically screwed myself out of a free spin. With a gold sale today, I actually thought about buying some gold so I could try to get the Peacock and Steampunk. NOPE!! Wallet closed!! I also should have the Steampunk anyhow, that was a Summoning that ended early and I was all set to receive him. The tricky business only makes people mad and close their wallets!! The lucky thing for me and bad for you is you always pop out with something questionable right when I'm about to give you some money. And then don't!!
