Dark seed sources

I just wanted to see if I was missing anything... The glimmer stuff to make seeds only comes from the gate and the castle right?
The dark seeds only drop from the dark garden right? Do they drop from anywhere else?

I've occasionally gotten a dark seed or 2 from Greseldas garden. And a plant, too, on occasion.

I think that's it. You just have to craft them & therein lies the rub! Getting those darn shards & fragments.
I have crafted a total of 2 plants since last week & that's only because I need 1 or 2 more glimmer trap plants to be able to do the exchange for an inscription.
