I have a level 4 Leo dragon that I want to trade but it won't let me, does anyone else have this problem?

Maybe its because leo is the basic dragon of the element, mostly basics dragons cannotbe traded

@droopy123love is right, but why would you want to trade a Leo?! I still can't get one :(

Ok is that the same reasoning behind a Tropic Dragon? I can't trade my second Tropic Dragon, I need the room for the other dragons in the Tropic Family.

Yes, that's the same reasoning. You could just sell it though, even though it's kind of a waste :(

Some dragons aren't trade-able because they are considered to be "basic elements". They can only be sold.
