I was able to get all three dragons. However right before this hunt I just had gotten a regular dragon egg. Now it just sits there with no goal to hatch it and the forge just has a place waiting for the source of heat to hatch it. When will this be corrected.

If you just need the burning ember, it's a rare drop from the desert sands adventure.

You'll need to complete other Goals in your Kingdom Goals list until you get to the quest to hatch the Dragon Egg.
