Making Friends

I cannot figure out how to request friendships in Dragon Story. I know it says to enter the Storm8 ID, but what if you don't know the ID? How do you get the ID?

On Farm Story 2 there is Friend Icon, but I don't find one on Dragon Story.

Can someone please help me?

Sometimes the name of the island is the same as the name of the Storm8 ID, sometimes it's different.

My way of getting new neighbours: I post my ID on their wall and ask them to invite me. I also post my ID on my wall and tell them they can invite me anytime.

I also look on their walls, to see if they posted their ID on their wall, so I can invite them myself.
