Do you HAVE to be in a specific crunch for the offer of purchasing "the rest" of an action's cost of gold using coins OR is there a way to just buy more gold with your coins if you do something sinister?

If you run out of Coins and you want to add more instead of waiting for your Dragons to earn more, you can exchange Gold for more Coins. However, the game does not offer Gold for Coins. If you'd like to earn more Gold, please note you can accept up to 20 Gold per day from gifts sent by your friends. You can send out 3 Gold per day to your friends.
