why did TL stop giving us gifts?

I am just wondering why did TL stop giving gifts after purchasing gems? I have spent too much and would of love to have an incentive to get more... I mean its only fair right?

A long Time ago they used to give gifts when buying gems on sale... things like the Brown Groovy hair style or some unique dressing rooms some mentioned a jacket for your ivy idk what else....
