I have been out of the game for a little over a year. I see that there are different versions of bakery story in the Play store. If I download and use these versions will I have access to the missing goals to unlock items that say *goal*? I've completed all the current goals that were there for me. I'm at level 99.

No, once the goals expire, they're gone. The locked items remain with you, taunting you every time you see them. The timer starts when the goal is initially released, not when the version is downloaded or the goal started by an individual.

They haven't tied goals to new versions in a long time. What you'll get when you download a different version from Google Play are new recipes and decorations. These recipes and decorations were available as weekly updates to iOS players but were put in special versions for Android. If you don't download the special version, you don't get the new recipes and decorations. And once you do, they'll still be available in other versions.
