That is called " Lack of communication with TL"
To buy or not to buy :confused::confused::confused:

For example, if I new that The Easter Wold even requires that Spring Meadow Habitat I would have definitely bought one to accommodate 3 new event dragons. But I didn't know and therefore didn't buy.

Anyway, we have 4 days ahead to look for the information on other internet resources.

These purchase-only dragons is a blessing in disguise for me - it does make it easier not taking DS very serious - it is a nice lil game but has too many functions (breeding, battling, non-existing confirmation button, and so on..) that just aren't rewarding enough for loyal players to go spend money on it in my opinion - and this splitting dragon collecting into those who can spend money in game and the other who can't just makes my mind up more. But saying that - ofc TL must do whatever needs done to make good profit on game, even if it just makes me even more determined to not spend money on it personally.

I don't mind the value packs if one of the items is gold. I get maps from my neighbors regularly, food is nice to get since it takes so much to get a dragon epic.

The game is getting more commercialized and I agree with MakJulos, loyal players should be getting smth more attractive.
This is a really mean offer - 20,000 food and 100 maps!
But I think TL is not aiming at loyal players, their strategy is based on Luck also (likewise Arena). If they are lucky many players will buy that (mainly dragon collectors)
if not - the next offer will be more attractive to all the players.

I have a question about this offer: is you level affecting the offer? What I mean is that on my ipod I'm level 135 and the offer is food(20000), Ancient Dragon, and Maps(100) for $14.99 but on my ipad I'm level 32 and the offer is food(10000), Ancient Dragon, and Maps(40) for $9.99.

I think your question is the answer same time.
When I was lvl 34 I got an offer for $9.99 and I bought it.
Next day I was lvl 35 and upon signing in I've got another Value Pack for $14.99.
The level affects the price of the Value Packs and what's inside them.

The price difference in this instance is different money in different counties - same price, different notation.

There are just too many dragons coming way too fast in my opinion. I don't want to have to sort them out. I have no place to put them. I used to be able to remember what I had, but am finding it harder and harder as SO many are coming out so quickly.

I would have liked at least the option of buying Viking, but unfortunately it wasnt for all players. Any chance it will be a tournament dragon?

I'm only upset cos I didn't get offered Viking dragon value pack, I was offered Valkyrie instead, which I already had :( I actually would have bought the pack if it had Viking, and I'm wondering if we can have it as tourney dragon

Oh, ok! My friend does get so mad when a tournament dragon is offered in the value pack, esp. If she spent gold to get it in the end. Why do they do that?

I'm not sure but i think viking pack was offered to low level players. I see it only on low level players as far

I'm ok with them offering special deals, it's just that they aren't offering things I want to pay for... Maps? I'm already maxed on both types of expansion. Coins? I have over $150 million. If they would offer GOLD, food and a unique Dragon, I would probably buy it, if it wasn't breedable.
Come on TL, give me a deal with a special Dragon, food and GOLD! Or, just make them breedable, I'm sure we spend more speed breeding! (;

Lol this value pack is best one yet!! 100 maps? That's great if you still need them. 20000 food c'mon, Now if you offered 200000 food and 100 gold that would be a value. You have no problem treating your players differently in every other aspect of the game, why not alter these value packs to a certain players needs.

I like this dragon but there is no way I'm gonna buy buy it.
I'm at level 150 and havnt needed maps in quite some time and as for food I have millions of coins so can produce food from my farms, as others have suggested if gold was offered in the value pack I probably would have bought it, it seems to me that this pack is designed for newbies.

I would not mind these value packs if a choice was given to buy the value pack or to obtain the dragon from some other means (battling, breeding, crafting, etc.) or, in the case of a discontinued or limited time dragon. This would allow players who missed out on getting a dragon for one reason or the other to buy it.

I am an avid collector of dragons and have hit the maximum number of unique dragons many times. I'm taking a pass on The Ancient Dragon value pack as this is not a fun way to collect dragons!!!

I agree. Package deals can be a great opportunity for the buyer and seller. If the point is to increase sales, why not make the package more attractive and useful for buyers.

Wow. They ended the thing 30 minutes sooner than the timer said, and lost $40.00 of revenue. Was waiting to see if I'd also need gold for Easter event dragons and whether I'd be spending gift card for that or ancient. Now not spending money for either
