Massive energy drop

So, after I collect from my pink Alicorn, I go along my merry way, not really paying attention. After a second or two, I look up, and suddenly I have 124 energy! Has this happened to anyone before? I didn't level up, so it wasn't that. What a nice way to start the day in my kingdom :)
