No gems

I am earning gems though tasks but they are not shown in my gem total. In fact it shows 0 gems.
Can anyone help. I am playing on an iPad 2

Most quests in this game do not give gem rewards. Its possible that you're seeing experience (blue stars) as rewards instead of gems (purple gems).

Can you please give the names of the quests that you thought would give gems so we can check it out?

As maguar mentioned, not all Goals will reward Gems. Make sure to check the reward section of the Goal. Most of them will give out experience and not always Gems.

Please write to support@teamlava.com if you completed Goals that reward Gems and it seems you did not receive them.

The goals that ask you for downloading games don't give you gems but you will get a (timed) goal that will ask you to do something to get them (like collecting from a coin building)
