Spring stuff would be great, still hoping for a grassy tile worth coins...and lots of garden stuff, flowerpots, planters, bring back the water garden, some garden lights...also more ppl to place in the bakery, aunt loretta say at a baking station with a mixing bowl? I would pay gems for that...

Someone had suggested a garden picnic with strawberries and cream...ooooooooo wow, how about wrought iron garden furniture in white? Would look good on the aforementioned grass tiles...
And I think it's great that they're listening to us on the forum, ice cream update and princess stuff in amethyst tones were all direct responses to player requests...so I reckon it pays to keep the comments coming...

Yesss! I'm all for picnics! White wrought iron garden furniture would be very pretty especially a wrought iron table with brunch & coffee on it :o I would also love to see bird baths, butterfly garden or butterfly feeders, fruit plants & citrus trees, more flowers and flower planters. Also we need more tables with desserts on them, cupcake towers, pie towers, cookie towers, brownie towers, macaron towers and prep counters that you can attain out of a box!

Sure the update looks cute but I'm upset about the lack of spring once again. I think this book theme might've been better suited for a challenge.
I wonder how many gems these items will cost.

This is an interesting concept, and it's funny to see the pastel lounge actually being used and sat on! :p Ha! Almost looks like they're re-cashing in re-using it as another lto. I like the coffee table and tall bookshelf in the corner. I'd much rather have this kind of theme now and have a spring/mother's day challenge in May so we have more coin-oriented Spring items. I just hope we don't wait all this time for Spring and get another cinco de mayo -_-#

I love all of this. It's just perfect for a bakery. Well done to all that suggested it. I wasn't very excited about todays update as there was no teaser but now I really am. I think the wallpaper is my favourite but I do really like it all. Hopefully not all for too many gems though.

Wow I love this week's update especially the Book Club Meeting! Pretty sure it will cost gems (maybe the usual 35 for this size) but one can hope! :o I just wish the chairs and tables are for coins and it'll be perfect. Can't wait!

I love this soooo much. I'm excited for all the items, but I'm worried they will mostly be for gems. Even so, as long as the items stick around for awhile I'll be saving up for them. I can imagine several uses for everything besides the obvious. The decorator in me is happy. :D

Thank you for the large picture, helps me see all the detail in this display. I really like the teacups and teapot and little snacks that connect it to a bakery. I bought a total of three of these lovely displays, one for each bakery, but decided against the LTO, that would be too many gems at once.

I like the teacups and snacks on the table too! Now all I need is to pray really hard that they bring back the Barista Counter (again) sometime this year and I can have my own little college coffee shop like what gabbysmom87 did above! :o

I have the barista counter in my shop and I made a suggestion for more coffee shop themes. The book club idea fits well wih the barista counter. Too bad I'm about 10-15 gems short of getting either display. Too bad I can't transfer gems between accounts lol. Very cute update, thank you TL! I know this probably has been asked a million times but when was the last time a regular oven got a new recipe? I can't remember. I would have more gems if I had more food to master.

I really love this update, I'm an avid book reader so this is just up my alley. I would have bought both of the big gem items but my only gripe is that they have the same weird, flat faces that they've been using lately. I have skipped out on many display items for this same reason.

I will just have to live with it :(

I love this update! I also mentioned this idea a while ago (or agreed with the idea which was already posted:-). I used to work in a library, and
this decor is fantastic! I must admit, I splurged a bit on gems for some items. However, I haven't done that in a long time, so that's how I am going
to rationalize it:-) It would be great to have some new 'book-themed' recipes to go along with this theme. There are many possibilities...even a cake in
the shape of a book.

Love this update! I love reading, and even have a library in my house-- now I can have one in my bakery. For some reason, the book tables reminds me of something from Hogwarts (or the book store in the book/movie?). Maybe the haphazard way they are stacked. Either way, I'm glad the tables and chairs were for coins. Will have to splurge for the book meet and maybe the book store too! Wish I was playing this when the barista counter was out. I hope they bring it back again because it goes so well with this!

We get new recipes once a month with the 2 new ovens unlocked from completing goals. To be honest, 6 new recipes per month is more than enough in my opinion. I've been playing for over 2 years and I'm only just getting close to mastering all 273 recipes available to me and I also have a few recipes locked as I didn't play til early 2012.

I don't know but for some reason there's never new recipe in BS. Maybe Mothers Day update soon. Pretty flower tables and matching chairs. That would be nice.

I just went and looked that up...that is crazy stuff... how are wet bears a restaurant theme???

They either have no ideas any more or they are eating Cheryl's "Groovy Bears" while brainstorming for releases.
I don't know about you but a wet sad teddy bear is neither cute nor appetizing.
It made me laugh a long time, but if I were still playing RS I would be pretty mad...my consolations to all of you RS players.

Love the stuff in the new update...but what the heck thats for fall...not spring...what about fairytale princess party and pretty spring items...or a few bunnies for the easter people. I love coffee shop feel but come on...thats SO back to school timeframe...

I was thinking the same thing. Don't get me wrong, I do like the items in the update but I would have love to have this in September when it's back-to-school time. I guess this will have to do until more spring stuff comes out....

Also, why does my favorite item (being the bookshelf wallpaper) has to be so much?!? ��

Love all the items, whoever designed them has done well. But I am saddened at the steep gem prices, which means that a lot of players probably will not be able to afford these...looks like I'm gonna be one of those...ah well...

I hate it when they cost gems - seeing that we typically buy more than 1 (more than 20, in my case).

I like the items in this update but found the tables and chairs quite expensive when compared to, say, the procelain ones.

And I'm still looking forward to spring items, TL!

Nope, never, only on Black Friday. It's frustrating so I vent by bringing it up every now and then~ It's a good thing in a way I suppose - I stop myself from buying gems by reminding myself that I'll be paying more than most do :D

fabulous, filochick and autumnscot! this was a great update for me too, but i can't decide on the large displays. l like the book club meeting better, but the store is LTO, so maybe I should get that and wait on the other a bit. But my place is so small I probably can't use both at once anyway without looking crazy, so maybe I should only get one. Sigh. Decisions, decisions.

Does anyone know if we'll be getting new goals next wednesay, since thats apr 30? I know that we get new goals every first wednesday in a month, so do you think we'll have to wait or if they are going to release new goals a bit early?

I'm wondering the same thing too because their recent trend is that they'll release a new set of goals on its predecessor's 4th week, also the first week of every month... but this time it still lands on April... I guess we'll just have to wait and see? :) But to be sure, I'm waiting for the reset before I send out parts. :o

Can't agree more... :( It costs 354,000 coins just for 6 sets of tables and chairs (around 1.5 days of earnings :O)
