How do you stop the notifications every time you start a new session as it stops you serving food and your tally drops

Not sure I know what you mean by your tally drops? If you mean the update and gem sale notifications, I don't believe you can stop them, but it's usually just done once per day. The only other regular popups are Messages and the amount that you've made while you were gone, which I don't believe you can stop either. And even then, just click X or OK on them and it takes a few seconds, so I'm sure the food could wait just a little while longer.
