glimmer golem won't fight!

I managed to defeat a glimmer golem. Went back to the glimmer gate and another glimmer golem showed up. I have clicked on and around endlessly, but I cannot get him to fight. Can someone help?

After restarting your device if you still have issues, there may only been a tiny piece of him inbounds.
Zoom in and tap everywhere. Try using a stylus.
