Can't get in the Arctic Isles! Please help!

I somehow managed to get an ice age dragon on the 1st or second try.. But when I put the egg in the nest and waited 4 seemingly long hours, I tried to travel to the Arctic Isles, but I got the same screen that tells me to buy or breed it! My friends and family have their own Arctic Isles except me and it urks me to see all of their cute little dragons and don't get me started on that Glacius the Ancient! I've tried everything, turning my phone/iPad off, uninstalling and installing the game again, ect. I've bred winter and magic again but I can't get it back! :-(

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out and tell me what to do!

Hi, Anniebells7! Please restart the app and login. You can now access the Arctic Isles. If you're switching between iOS and Android, you may experience unpredictable results. If you're completing an action that's iOS only (trading, hatching platform specific Dragons, etc), you'll want to be sure that you finish it before you switch devices.
