can't by tables for goals

I've had a few goals now that require me to buy tables and chairs I can buy the chairs but the tables are locked how do you unlock them I can't complete the goal because there locked

There are 2 parts to the goal so you need to finish the other part first. You probably need to finish cooking the required amount of lemon berry water or whatever recipe is required on the Infused Water Machine. You need to work back & forth between the 2 parts to open up the goal items.

Which table and chair are you trying to unlock? As meme1098 mentioned, sometimes you need to complete other existing Goals first in order to complete other Goals and unlock other items.
