So, I was wondering, does the number of tables you have in you'll restaurant, or even in Bakery Story, correlate to the amount of sales? So if you are running out of product overnight, despite having about 11,000 plates on the counters, could that be avoided by decreasing the number of tables overnight? And, say, in Bakery Story, if you aren't selling ENOUGH, will adding more tables help, if you can make space for them?

In both RS and BS the maximum number of ppl in ur place at anyone time is 28 no matter how many table/chair combos u have. What matters is ur setup, how close ur t/c combos r to ur registers or hostess stands and doors, along w how u have the t/c lined up. U want ur register or hostess stand just a few steps in from the door.
U need 2 go 2 the thread titled Most Efficient Design wo using the Maths. It's posting 131 on pg 14. There's a diagram of the best design 2 use and it only calls 4 the original door in it's original place.m
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

your happiness rating shows how fast it sells. 100 is max, if u want to sell slower, make it drop by blocking off the tables or something. after it drops enough, close the game.
also decrease the number of occupied counters to make it sell slower.

this applies if you don't leave the game open overnight. if you do (to sell faster in BS), see above.
