Social rating doesn't change

My social rating doesn't seem to move. I've been visiting neighbors and liking their furniture and collecting hearts but it seems to either be moving very slowly or not at all. It's been stuck at three hearts for three days and I've made quite a lot of visits in that time.

So I am not sure of that is a bug or not... Do you have to visit more places and collect more hearts to increase my social meter the higher up you go?

Hi jaxkitty! Your rating should continue to increase after three hearts.

Please note that the higher your social rating, the more hearts will be needed to get to the next level. So visiting more places and collecting even more hearts will slowly, but surely, increase your social rating.
