Can't upgrade farm

I'm on level 10 and every time I try to upgrade a farm, it says I don't have enough coins, even though I do.
Does anyone have an idea why is this happening?

Try restarting your device.

I restarted my phone, it didn't help. I'm trying to upgrade a small farm and a message pops up, which says I need 10219 coins and asks if I'd like to buy them for gold.

The cost to upgrade should be 30,000 coins. Do you have at least 30,000 coins?

Ah, ok, that makes sense. I have less than that, I understood it wrong, sorry. I think if it would say "you need 11219 more ", it would be more understandable. I also showed it to a friend and he also didn't get why I couldn't buy the upgrade. :D

No problem at all.
It gives an amount that you need that will match the next coin packages(you buy with gems).
Then if you still do not have enough coins it will ask if you want to buy another coin package.

(I agree- little confusing)
