Skimpy barracks adventures

Getting increasingly poor results from barracks adventures, with my latest 2 day wait, resulting in a fancy beam, and 9 energy :/

Hmm I never thought it made a difference whether barracks or castle, just the time was different. I often send lesser adventures at the barracks (vault and bandits) and yes they bring back lesser things. Or is it that you are maxed on a lot of items it tried to bring back??

I did wonder that. 1 fancy beam, that I had 47 of already, is NOT worth the aggro and wait. I took particular attention as I was convinced the last few had been bad. :(

I suspected that too, I can't remember exactly what I've been getting but I've never been as pleased with what I get as I am with the castle, and I've just been doing the vaults one on both recently.
