Is it just me or does the community number seem to rising a lot faster than it did the first 7 days? Which makes me kind of skeptical of the whole thing I mean TL can manipulate that number any way they want to.

As I wrote 3-4 pages before the newbies will join you in great numbers by the end of the week.
I'm lvl24 on IOS and I just pass the 750 mark. Most probably I won't get Cleopatra coz to get it I need to speed breeding and I don't really want it since it boosts XP level.
On Android I'm lvl96 but not playing it much coz there is no Unicorn for me since Valentine madness was over.

I think we're all working towards it, but those are some honking big goals! We are being tested! But I remain positive, we will battle on, breed on and plant on until the Sphinx is OURS! Muwahahaha! (Evil laugh needs work, it's a bit rusty). Thanks for working together community. I like this challenge, and that it has lots of communication happening between us. I wish more players understood or knew about the forums. I've tried to explain/invite neighbors, but the lack of instructions makes it difficult for unfamiliar users. You can buy an air or water dragon to fill your nest for some time. Air will give you 2 Egyptian coins and water will give you 12. Not much, but still helps!

I have been putting air dragons on my empty nests 2 coins each time for 2250 coins ( 2500 purchase and 250 when you sell)

If you've got the funds, try buying a light dragon (9 hours) or water (12 hours) or air (2 hours) to fill your nest/nests :) good luck!

Yeah, just averages / ratios and unscientific adjustments. :)

We needed 700k per hour from the start (15 Days = 360 Hours, x 700k = 252 Million)

We are 65% through the time (235/360 hours), but only 57% of the total (142M/252M)

Total 142M / 235 hours so far = 600k per hour

125 hours left at 600k per hour = 75M

142M+75M = 217M

We need to be closer to 875k per hour x 125 hours remaining = ~110M
110M+142M = 252M


I know averages suck,
and It doesn't account for a slow start while people worked out there's a global event (and what to do with it),
but it's close enough.

This is going to be really hard as the pace has dropped the last 2 days... We only collected 13 million coins yesterday, the previous day was 17 mil and the day before that around 22 mil.

Questing (Air dragon) -- 4 coins
Farming -- 1 coin per hour per farm
Breeding -- 1 coin for each hour egg needs to incubate (whether you wait for it to hatch or hurry it up with gold)
Battling - 1 coin for each battle you win

I am Level 150. I have 6 farms that I continuously harvest either 1-hour, 5-hour or 8-hour depending what it takes to start the 8-hour crop just as I go to bed. I have 4 nests which I continuously have eggs on. See if you are missing any chances from above list.

Please note I am not accepting new neighbours.

Are you planting crops that last at least 1 hr 24 /7? Do you have 6 farms? Right there you will get 144 coins a day if you harvest the crops immediately. You can get 24 coins per nest daily and you can get more from the 4 hour quest and battling in the arena. If you work real hard you could get 190 plus coins a day.

Well if you have 6 large farms that you could harvest from more or less 24/7, and lots of silver to spend on constantly questing or fighting for a futile coin in arena lottery, then you're probably doing something wrong - i'm not sure if TL did anything to help low level players, like scaling costs and outcome after level, but somehow i doubt it. Maybe they want them to buy gold to be able to keep up lol :) oh well, i wish you luck and hope you get far in the event!

Thanks for advice! I've been farming 24/7 and doing everything I can to get coins. I think one issue was losing so much in battle due to my dragons not being up to par.I'm going to do everything I can to make progress and in the end if I don't have enough, I'm sure I'll spend the gold to get there and I'm sure others will as well.Worked too hard on this to miss out.Congrats to everyone who has made it! Download restaurant story on your ipad and you can sign in/out and switch between both of your account, however many times you want. It's super easy. Just make sure you have a password for the other account.

i don't think we could actually have the last dragon reward.. It'll last for about 5 days and it says 252 million coins to get.. I have 1153 coins myself and I'm pretty sure I won't win the last individual price.. I'm planting everyday for 20h, battling in the arena as much as my dragons can, I'm breeding everyday (have 2 nests, so it's easier to get coins), I'm questing like 4 times per day. Is there any other way or faster to get more coins?

Actually I just looked it up and the thread says that Dragon Story doesn't support the log in yet.
You have to use one of the games listed on post 1 of that thread for whichever device you are pulling your games to.
When you use the login feature, all games under that storm ID also transfer over.
That means when you login say using Restaurant story, then your dragon game will also transfer over.

I would think they thought that it was possible for the community to get the dragon when they set up the event. They have had enough summonings with people participating to gauge what would be needed.

But the timer would have been based on the whole community starting the event at the same time but as people were playing Valentines edition they were not aware an event had started. Hopefully, next time communication will be better when we have an event the whole community needs to begin when the timer begins.

Well, i don't like this event type, i don't like having to think about an event for 2 weeks, but on other hand - i don't have to think about it for 2 weeks lol! It's so simple just starting up game now n then, harvesting n planting, sending off Air on quest, maybe buy a cheap dragon n put on nest, perhaps fight a round in the lottery arena.....mindnumbing and simple, and i still get rewards from it - i'll even reach 1800, so...it's not that bad i guess, at least it's a win for me if not for TL - in my case that is, i know many go hysterical about it and spend spend spend, so i guess you're right - everyone happy! :)

At the moment I'm not battling b'coz I had lost my 5 Venetian Masks 17 to 12 , all 3 dragons vanished from nests i.e, Jewelry & Cleopatrs from nests & Mummy vanished from Storage.
Currently I have 2065 coins.

I already sent email to TeamLava support,waiting for their reply.Also sent as much evidence I got for them.,unfortunately I don't have the screenshots of Jewelry & Cleopatra dragons eggs lying at the time on nests,but have written evidence of few neighbors on my wall who were visited there at the time I put Jewelry & Cleopatra on nests.Their posts I screenshots and email to TeamLava .

Hope I'll have my all 3 dragons back, specially jewelry was tough got after tons of fruitful failed, Four leaf 7 & epic Diamond was the combo.

When I came back and signed in tonight all 3 eggs from the nest were gone, including the Mummy. My Pyramid dragon that was already in level 4th Went back to the egg on the nest ready to be hatched. The Mummy and the other two disappeared but I still have the check mark on the quest from the Egypt Application icon that confirms that I completed what was required to earn the Mummy Dragon. Where did my eggs go? The 3 of them disappeared. Why did that happen? Can anyone get me some help with this obvious technical app problem? How can I get my eggs back?

I've got my mummy dragon on my one nest, a dragon questing, and all six of my farms planted with 20 hr food to be harvested tomorrow night... I'm pretty sure I'm going to get the Cleopatra dragon, and I'm battling in the arena every chance I get because I want a Venetian dragon like CRAZY. If you are not spending gold it is a fairly set number of coins you will receive. One coin per hour of breeding, farming and questing. And then a few coins per day from battling if you can do it.

Having said that your coin total is low, perhaps you have missed some opportunities to collect. Both my accounts are over 1500 coins with no gold speeding anything up.

The Anubis dragon won't fit into the habitat because it's diamond and purple. The hidden oasis is only for Egypt dragons. And Egypt dragons can only be got from the world event, only one of each. So you can't have more than 4 dragons to fit in the habitat. I don't think it will be available later on. It is a beautiful habitat, though. :)

You should NOT be planting if not having money or patience, that'd be just dumb...a game you play is supposed to be for fun, not to push you into things you're not really after, there are enough of such things at work, in school...in real life... If you're not feeling you're missing out on anything then just relax and play game the way you like it!

I already have 1956, the 3 dragons and equinox from the other adventure, so I will not be playing at the arena that hard. If I get a second equinox it would be nice, but I will not try hard. It is good for people who does not have equinox to have another chance. Good work TeamLava.

I woke up to check my crops and battle, found a tournament and new Dragon release(Cherry Blossom). You can't sleep without missing something! (; I did my part to raise the total by doing some quick speed breeding for Cherry. (; Got it with Unicorn and water, 26 hours.

Any chance TL can extend time? I think many have stopped trying for sphinx, thinking it's an impossible goal so they've just given up. Then there's the small group who are planting/battling/questing continually trying to help get last dragon but there is no way that small group can do it alone :(

I sure wish we could meet the Sphinx dragon goal but it is sadly not going to be possible. Hopefully it will be offered in a mini tournament? Pretty, pretty please? I can't breed it and I refuse to buy gold to buy it if it goes to market, but I'd like to have a chance at it!

Equinox Dragon in the Tourny is giving me a new opportunity to earn more Egyptian Coins and craft a new dragon. Even holding off crafting another Lotus... I usually don't do well in the Tournys. Just can't pass up earning 2 coins each win, tho.

Aye...I'm a PolyAnna person and see the glass as full no matter what. We'll earn the Sphinx dragon. Just wait and see.

I am juggling 4 accounts and trying to generate as many coins as possible. My husband is getting really fed up that I always seem to have a phone or iPad in my hand.

TL is giving double coins for the arena because they WANT to give Cleo to us.
I have 2035 as a personal total. And I'm going to continue to speed breed to get my Cherry Blossom, farm, quest etc to the end.
Have started new habitats in the few remaining open spaces I have so I can store my "fails" long enough to Evolve and Trade them off. Then when this is over I'm ready to take a break from breeding so I can catch up on "herd maintenance".

Yes I think exactly the same as they awsumum. I have not an empty nest, fighting in arena and try to collect Egyptian coins. Please please not stop to collect Egyptian coins, we get the Sphinx :D

When the Egypt type is alone in the pool, it will add pure dragons of its component types (White and Yellow) to the list of possible outcomes, but it will not split into its component types. When Egypt is included in the pool along with one or more other types, the Egypt type can split into White and Yellow. However, if it is split, then Egypt is no longer in the pool for the duration. Thus, the presence of Egypt in a pool will either add the Egypt type if it does not split or the White and Yellow types if it does split.
Although the Egypt type can split into White and Yellow for breeding purposes, it still only counts as one type. This is important when considering the number of types for type-amount-dependent dragons such as the Diamond Dragon. Breeding a Pyramid Dragon with a Coral Dragon only counts as three types: Egypt, Blue, and Purple.

Community average has been around 600-650k per hour since start.

It needs to be over 1 Million per hour to get the remaining 92 Million in 91 Hours.

While I am far more cynical than you guys, Its been a good event.

I never expected to get the Sphinx, we have never been on track, so unless TL keep changing the playing field ...

I think I'll blame the no doubt countless kids that play Dragon Story and have no idea how to effectively get coins. In short, the ones that don't go to this forum. ;D

I hate it too! Personal goals were not exactly a breeze but at least obtainable, it was my responsibility, now I have to rely on others and I love that we are working together, but when so many seem to have given up and I really want the sphinx but can't get it alone, it just seems too much.

Very true. And it might not even be the ones that don't play the same. They could just as easily blame those who got daunted or happened to take a break before the goals popped up. I don't mind splurging a little gold for my goals, but I've pretty much given up on Sphinx. Still, I haven't gotten Cleopatra yet, and even if I did, no harm in planting a little extra food or keeping my extra nest full with Water eggs.
