Constant crashing with latest st patties update

I'm using a pre retina iPad mini running IOS 6 because I'm afraid of slowing it down further. I also have an iPhone 4S with IOS 7 . On both devices the game will randomly crash several times a day. I play a lot. This was annoying but I lived with it until just now when it did it during mining and I lost my shovel.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tested this on our iPhone 4S and I did not experience this issue. Do you have a lot of apps running in the background? If force closing and reinstalling has not helped, please PM me the Storm8 ID's that are experiencing this or email support@teamlava.com with as much information as possible. :)

I'm hoping my pm went through. Was having password issues. It just happened again. Only app open, just me losing money trying desperately to catch a leprechaun lol. Maybe it's trying to tell me to stop buying traps and give up.
