Not receiving gifts of gold

I have been getting messages to send gold to players who have sent me gold. I am not receiving gifts of gold from these players. Just being asked to gift back. I am pkayi g on kindle fire hd

Players can only send gold to three neighbors per day.
When you list comes up, you will see the new gold you received for that day. (you can hit accept button)
You will also see a list of players that have sent you gold over the last few days(gold you already accepted the date before). The accept button will be greyed out .
Look at the time received. You can tell the new ones from the ones that came in prior.
