Have to do "Can't Fool The Ladies" twice?

I made the 5 Mythic Essences to do the final upgrade on Griselda's Garden and it didn't complete the "Can't Fool The Ladies" task. I upgraded the garden and now I have to make 5 more essences????? Is this odd?
