:)they did mention in the game that within the 8hrs after consuming the enchantment, you have higher chance(100% I guess) of finding garnet stone, and they will be harder(50% I guess) to get after the effect wears off...:D

Just about wrapped up part 2 and just about wrapping up the adamant quest line.. Waited that one out because of part 2's Mithril requirement right at the end.. Been an exhausting few months.. It's just about midnight in India where I am and truth be told I've been up religiously till 2 am Thursday nights to see the quest lines .. After over a year of playing this game without buying any gems, I managed all goals. In fact, the barracks I could not get into my kingdom, coz of the high gem rate. Loving this game, did my bit, bought a 500 gem pack for like 15$ .. So thank you TL.

But to be honest was disappointed with the rising gem based add ons. Not complaining, it is all doable over time. But still would have been great to have such rewards as part of the quest line :)

My moonstone is nearly done but then I think you still have to visit the sapling a few times after. Oh well, it will come. I just loved the ever faithful new popup on a Thursday evening and may have withdrawal symptoms tonight. Nothing a bottle of wine won't fix though ;)

When an adventure is part if a quest, you need to send them on the adventure to complete that part of the quest unless you skip/speed-up with gems.
If you have an adventure in progress, just don't collect until you're at that part if the quest.

I am kind of confused. Do I need 1 adventure for each Garnet or 1 adventure will give me all 4 Garnets? First line said I only need 1 Garnet and the other line said Garnet x 4.

In order to complete the goal, you need to do 4 adventures! You get 1 garnet per adventure.

sheri59 I think the adventures drop 1 garnet which is all you need for the trinket. Doing the other three adventures will give you the quest reward of coins and xp

You do not need. 6 hours would be enough . (Ok 6 hours plus 1-2 minutes ). Because if you start the adventure in time it will bring the reward (garnet ) also after time runs out .

Sorry for whining here but the waiting is too long. I end up maxed out on milk, eggs, bacon, water, fish etc by the end of the first day and have nothing but coin buildings to collect from to use up energy. The more valuable items are still only once or twice a day so there's no replenishing them any faster than usual. Add to that preparing sweet feasts and the kitchens are tied up for hours upon hours so no getting ahead there.

ETA: also a lot of the upcoming goals are ONLY available in supplies etc AFTER the goal appears.

If you're after just the petals and the wood chop dead trees or old logs (wood plus a chance of random petals, Glimmerdust, mushrooms) as you don't need to grow them.

I have to admit that I have used gems to speed things up and bought gems along the way but as I complete goals early it just leaves me with waiting for the next goal to come up... I have a pretty good stock on most items and now I take advantage of the wait for things to get crafted to continue stocking up... I craft magic cement, ornate blocks and beams, then stock up again on the resource then start all over again... So my advice is to have patience and when you start reaching the max on some items use the items to craft things.. Most of us have 2 of each crafting buildings so use them wisely and keep them busy... Thank you TL for such an amazing game...

I'm referring to point 7 here. You are right, it's depends on luck to be able to craft both garnet trinkets. One succeed and another fail will close the option to craft anymore so... Gems the only way...
I don't think garnet is an issue here as the adv to mount despair still available when crafting the garnet trinkets... So can sent as many knight to mount despair as your wish but the 8 hrs timed goal did mentioned its higher chance to get garnet within 8 hrs when the underworld potion is still working...

The goal in my book expired 1 minute before castle was ready to tap. I was right on top of the 4 adventures & collected the second they were ready. Got the 4 garnets but not the coins or XP for the goal. So watch your time ... You can always use a gem if the coins or points matter to you. And yes, the adventure is still in the castle after I started the trinket in the forge.

Teamlava, there is absolutely no way to do 4 adventures @ 2 hours each and finish before the goal expires without using at least 1 gem ... Clock should have at least 2 extra minutes on it to allow for response time to collect & start the next one.

But I am already on the next part of the quest line to craft the garnet trinket. I have sent my knights on a 22 hour adventure, so the 2 hour adventure will have expired by then. Even if I payed 50 gems to skip the craft the trinket quest, I will still have to use 250 gems to buy it for the tree upgrade.

Katbtodd, you are right about it! I just tested on a different account. The garnet was not a guaranteed drop per adventure. I received the garnet for six adventures then no garnet for the next four adventures. I do apologise for the wrong information I provided...:(

Are you doing the Mount Despair Adventure ?(only at King's Keep/Queen's Court).
The other adventures will not bring back a Garnet.

Also have you checked your inventory? I did not see mine pop out after the adventure, it just showed up in my inventory.

It appears from what I have read that not only is there the timed goal,but that even though these may be completed in the allocated time frame there is still a high possibility of failure!

My observations only - I got the 4 garnets within the timed quest. I did spend gems. 3 in total. I let the first one expire and collected. For the 2nd, 3rd and 4th, I sped up when there was under 14 minutes on the clock for each quest. That only costs 1 gem each. The last one was touch and go, as the boss called me in for a meeting - how dare she interrupt my CS time (tounge firmly planted in cheek). I made the collection with 4 minutes to spare.

I then went onto the next step. The first one failed, however, on the second attempt it came. Now I have 2 spare garnets.

Once again my observation only, you need to complete the timed goal and get the 4 garnets. If you do not complete the 4 in time that is when all whatever Breaks loose. Of course there is a chance that will not occur either.

I specifically feel for katbold (sorry for the spelling). He/she missed the last one for a minute and is/was paying the price.

My advice, if you have a few gems spare, speed up at least 2 to ensure you meet the deadline of the quest.

Footnote - to those that have had experiences that differ from my comments, I feel for you. These are just my personal thoughts. Cheers ......

My experiences: finished timed quest in time (using 3 gems), got 4 garnets. Sent an 5th adventure out which got me an 5th one, but the 6th adventure came back empty handed.

I was crafting two trinkets simultaneously. At 4th try it succeeded. Was hoping for a second one, but the 5th try (which was ready in the second forge) failed. (so I got back my second trinket empty, without being gemmed)

I understand those who are angry of not getting garnets/not succeeding crafts. But still, there is nowhere to run, the further parts need so many ingredients (living wood and murmur, which was not dropping for a time) that even if you succeed at first try you will stop a few steps later.

Use your time to stock up with living woods until.

Nothing. While the 8 hrs last, you have better (like 100%) chance to get garnet. After 8 hrs expires it goes down (the chance).

Only thing you will loose the ~3000 coins and 10 xp or so, which is the reward for the finished quest ontime.

A total of 6 adventure came back empty ,,,, so it was a bug or part of the quest,,,, I gotten both views on that,,,, and I got my trinket after 38 hours non stop of adventures my faeries were very angry at me,,,,

Yay, I made it in the time! For those who haven't started yet, the following might help ..

As soon as I collected the potion I didn't touch the blue book, just went straight to the castle and sent the quest out, which meant that the conversation with the faeries came up after my knights had left. As each adventure got to within 2 minutes of finishing I placed my avatar as close as possible to the castle, and tapped the castle to put the countdown on. This meant it took about 2 seconds to collect and send out again - don't touch the rewards, it's not necessary. I finished the 4th adventure with about 30 seconds to spare!

I did it for fun, and to see if it's possible without spending gems - which it is - but my blood pressure would have been much lower if I'd used 1 gem at the end!!! :D

As lordviv wrote before me, dont be sad, it takes ages to prepare with ingredients. Do you have 40 red petals? 70 living woods? 20 faeries murmur (now when it drops only from magic garden because of angry fairies)?

Sorry missed this thought, it's fine taking ages to prepare, but it's kinda uncool blocking up the exchange so long.. That's all. For some of us who play this to the point of being borderline crazy, ingredients all always near maxed out.. I've only found living wood the major issue, I have raised this earlier as well I think.

If you recall when we started out in the game, getting those red petals for Ivy's hut drove a lot of players crazy, but it was not that it meant the exchange or some such building was held hostage for 4 days... Lol... In a weird sense because of the wait, my intensity in the game has dropped the last few days. Anyways, that's my experience. :)

help! I made and collected the moonstone trinket from the magic forge. I made a second moonstone and that is sitting in my storage. When I go to check the "tree" it says you need another banner pole, etc. And then a garnet trinket which you make at the magic forge. my question/problem is my moonstone trinket has disappeared. I looked after collecting it from the forge, not in storage. Looked in potion and workshops, just in case, not there. I would make another but I need a trinket to do that and I do not know how to get an extra trinket. Will my moonstone or whatever I collected from the forge come back when I need to make the garnet trinket? And why is the forge offering to have me make the moonstone trinket when I go to the blue book where I am at air blessing and the make moonstone trinket is checked, upgrade the Blythewood Sapling is checked, and assuming after the times elapses for the upgrade on the sapling that will be checked. or will I need to purchase another life tree trinket (50 gems) to makes new moonstone trinket or the garnet trinket? Cool. I hate to say, but another manticore egg dropped from the roost this morning. It is currently in the forge. Now I need to decide if I want him to grow up or do I stick him in my nursery where I have left my excess animals received from adventures and left them in their baby state. Decisions. Decisions. Thank you so much. I now have more than the 50 living wood required when Aggie condescends to write back. My stocks were depleted for deep mine upgrade. Dead trees, white flowers, energy and 15 minutes to craft. I maxed out on mushrooms too.

I really dislike timed quests... when exactly does this quest start? I currently have a castle adventure that will run it's one day time. however, my underworld enchantment is ready. if I collect the enchantment, does the quest then start the 8 hour timer?
if so, I need to remember not collect until tomorrow. else, I'm out of luck as far as timed quest goes.

Pariski you can collect the potion as long as you don't go into the goal and press go. Personally I've keep it like this for two days so I don't start the timed section. I have tomorrow off so that's when I'll do it.
