Same here. The tables not only don't fit in with my current decor, but they hurt my eyes. Something about the circles and colors I think. I would have preferred a 'standard' rainbow in an arc across the table rather than an too bright, multi-color bulls-eye.

I like the wallpaper and tiles myself. I would love to have a thatched roof cottage decoration to go with it. Right now the dark doesn't go with my bakery but I may change the whole thing soon.

Well, I really didn't need (or want) any new wallpaper, and I couldn't tell what it really looked like until I put it on the wall. So I bought, then stored it. Put the tiles down, but just couldn't warm up to them, so put my originals back. I tend not to like dark colors in the games. It just makes the bakery (or restaurant) look dreary. I was really hoping for bright and cheerful. I've seen some of the older St Pat's stuff in both BS and RS, and really hate that I didn't start playing until after. I have very little decor in either game (esp in RS) that says St Pat's to me. <sigh> Maybe next year. :/

I love the rainbow tables! The bright colors rock! I put the clover covered chairs with them, on the clover tiles, and I love the way they look! Not a huge fan of the dark walls, or the tiles, but maybe I can figure out a way to alternate them with lighter colors. Anyway, THANKS TL! I'm really glad we got St Paddy's day decor in BS! For the next update: More green, more spring colors, more amethyst & more porcelain PLEASE! (; keep the flowers and green stuff coming! Like the Eiffel Tower goal prize- it's beautiful and colorful, can be used w lots of spring themes! Thanks again!!

Yes you did! There are some stools with clovers, but unlocked if you finish the first or second recipe, I don't remember ;)

I love this goal. I love Ireland. Plus Mince Pies! Yum :) And the Blarney stone! (which I've kissed, you have to do it sort of upside down).

The requested parts do not show up in your inventory. They only show up when you tap on the appliance box of parts.

If you want to lvl up fast and make your bakery nice, are goals a bad option. Goals will leave you with no money, less XP and stuff you dont want. So i guess you have to see goals as something fun and not something you will make money of.

Goals are expensive and I usually have to buy things I think are ugly, but it's the only way to get certain ovens (gems) and the goal prize, which may be something desirable. It's a tradeoff.

Agreed. The fluro green clover tiles from last year are awful. They hurt my eyes.

I've seen these foods in a bakery before, so no I think they're fine. Not all bakeries are filled with sugary treats.

dont really mind the dark wallpaper as pubs tend to be dark and I did find a way to lighten it ip a bit. if they were going for more publike atmosphere they needed to add a new drink like a dark lager. why they went for pub food is beyond me in bakery story, there are plenty of irish bakery items that could have been made like gooseberry crumble, rhubarb fool, blackberry soup with buttermilk custards, porter cake, oatmeal & potato bread, barm brack or irish coffee and black velvet. so many to choose for a bakery. but then again they dont seem to be doing irish in restaurant story except for the decorations. wish they were. would like to see more irish decorations like the blarney stone they have in rs. this irish lass is disappointed.

I actually like that they are adding other foods besides baked goods. I don't play Restaurant Story because I have a hard time doing both BS and RS so I just picked BS.I like that RS has regular food so for me it is like the best of both worlds them adding regular food:D

I saw the goal prize in this one bakery the day after the challenges started, I didn't get a picture. You could tell they had bought hundreds of dollars of gems though, it was crazy! like only on level 30 and fully expanded etc.

Yeah, honestly the idea of Curry Pasty and Shepherd's Pie in a bakery kinda gross me out.

I know bakeries don't just serve sweets, and I actually like eating those two dishes, but having them beside my cakes makes me wrinkle my nose!

I will finish goals if only to get a few gems from mastering the recipes on the new oven, especially after overspending and buying many gems for vday updates. Though I will not even start goals on my smaller accounts and I will not display this ugly reward in my bakery, it will most likely stay in storage.

Maybe this was meant to be the end reward for Restaurant Story, it would fit better there. Bakery is supposed to have super cute items.

However, I am actually not upset about this, since we got the really cute 4x4 display for 40,000 coins that I can buy for all bakeries w/o bothering with goals and that's good enough for me.

Perhaps you have the maximum number of ovens out already? If that's the case, you'll have to put a few non-goal ovens in storage.

It is still locked even this goal is shown to you, you have to complete the previous one to unlock this.

Yes. The leprechauns are fun and you have the musical element with the fiddle. The harp player is just funny. I have seen it used in a corner and it looks like you are peeping in to the bar next door.

6 hours :) Then you have chicken curry at 8 hours (can't remember how many though). Final is 32 shepherds pie at 10 hours each.

Maybe u need 2 purchase a few more appliances. I always have at least 5-6 of each 1.

You should be able to fit in two per day. Start one in the morning, start another eight or more hours later. Then the next morning, serve your second batch and start a third. Etc.

I have seen many good tips in this forum ty! :) and one of them is to not send requests to all your neighbours because they might not get them. So you missing parts doesnt surprise me.
You can always look in the forums what parts you need for your ovens and ask your neighbours the day before what you would like to recieve next day. Good Luck

We "usually" get them the 1st Wednesday of the month. I say usually cuz TL is known 2 chg things up. However, 4 the past couple of months that's how it's been. Also there's usually 1 wk left in the old challenge.

This is why you should stock up on parts and decline food gifts. I always buy about 8 of the first goal oven and a dozen of the second. This way I finish the goal quickly and not long thereafter master the recipes on the goal ovens so they can go into storage. I hate having goal ovens in my shop.
