Incubation Plans

I'm a bit confused... I'm doing incubation plans and I've sent out requests to my neighbors. I see that 9 ppl have responded to my request but my counter is not going up. I still see 0/50. Also, I see a dragon egg in my inventory. I just need a bit of clarification. Thank you

When I send requests and the counter doesn't show them, I force close and they are there when I start the game again.
