Coin balance not increasing

My coin balance has been hovering around the same level (abt 1.9 million) for a little over a week now. I noticed that when I'm in game, actively playing, the balance increases, but when I close the game and return, my balance has reset to the same level (1.9).

I'm playing on an iPad Air, iOS version 7.0.6; BS version 1.6.8

Addt'l info: this is similar to the bug in Fashion Story last year. The solution was to restart game at the "you've won xxx coins" screen. I will try that fix in BS and see if my balance goes up.

R u starting a new ck when u return 2 the bakery? Is this happening even if u leave it going overnight? Also could it just b taking a long time 2 advance 2 $2,000,000 cuz I know I've been in the 4 million range 4 a long time.im beginning 2 feel like I'll never break the 5 million barrier again.

When you collect Coins, also be sure that you're connected to a stable connection to save your progress. Try visiting after you receive your Coins. This will ping the server. If you can visit, you're connected.
