now back to trying for Anubis... sigh...


Just got it first try with Night/Landworm. Some people here have already had the winning result with this combo. Actually, even more players had best results with just black/red-green elements, no matter what dragons those were. I just followed advice. Thanks, guys!

You might be on to something here...if one dragon is water/fire, then those two elements might not be able to breed with each other...right? So only water/forest and fire/forest fails maybe.

Mercury/ winter g is only blue/ white/ blue. U need blue/ green/ red in the combo for element. Diamond doesnt add anything except hybrid colour which is blue at Mercury.

I put Leviathan and Quetzal together and got 32 hours. I stared at the egg chart puzzled for about 5 minutes before I realized that quetzal mist be available again. I would be excited except I already have one and 32 hours is a looooong wait.

Tired once with crusader & mermaid, got a Leftheart dragon as a fail :) I had given up trying for Leftheart as I kept getting magic fails, so am chuffed with this. Bit of a race on now though, it's in the evolution temple, so I'll get ONE shot as passion before that expires, I've not risked trying for elements again yet, I can't have my nest tied up with a long fail!

Wow it is weird, I was breeding fairytale and goblin trying for hook or red, and got 10 hrs, I said shoot another fairytale or fruitful, surprised! Surprised it was the element egg... So I check the thread to make sure, it is 8 hrs and not 10. So I went to my game and viola the hatching time was change to 8.... Hmmmmm glitch, but I love it... ����������

How did you get it with topaz x fire that's yellow and red combo but element is blue green and red ? I must be missing something are the colors hidden like the black swan or something? I am really interested if someone can explain it for me thanks

Ok I understand it's a gemstone so that means it can use the yellow since its topaz and one other color as the hidden gemstone color I can understand that but element is blue green and red if you use that logic where did the other color come from because with the topaz it can give you yellow and green or yellow and blue correct and than there was fire so there is the red so you are still missing either the blue or green correct because using topaz can't give you blue and green can it? I am so confused

Yes :) and I believe some of the dragons do have a hidden color. The body of the elements dragon is purple with a yellow belly. I was thinking that if red and blue are making the body purple, then where did the yellow come from?? And the body of elements kind of resembled topaz but opposite colors. so I used topaz :) hope that helps a little too :)

i have no luck with this one ! i got some new dragons and i was quite sure that i wll get this as well after a few tries. But NO ! I'm still trying but i will probably end up hating this game again ! i got 6 islands, 3 gemstones, 2 athletics, 1 landworm, 1 atlantis and LOTS of life dragons. i even got a diamond as a fail when i added another extra element. C'mon TL ! This is not fair ! there are ALWAYS the same 2-3 players so get their dragons after few tries.

i think you guys haven't understood the system yet.

topaz x water and topaz x magic would not give you elements in a thousand years xD why?

gemstone splits into blue and green. which means that topaz actually has yellow x GREEN x BLUE. adding water into the pool would still mean yellow x green x blue. where's the fire element?

i used both version because i had the same dilemma as you. Both version gave me islands, serpents, life, etc.

i think i got over 20 fails using different combos : athletic and forest ; athletic and landworm ; athletic and atlantis ; knight and forest ; water and gingerbread ; knight and wild and now i got a 15h fail with atlantis and fire.... over 100 gold spent in the last week hoping that i will eventually get what i want. this is getting really frustrating

After 9 fails I tried Rose4 + Water5 this provides a 1 in 10 chance, other mixes were up to 1 in 27 . I got 2 magic 1 athletic and 1 ELEMENTS!!!!!!! Now sitting on the nest trying to get me to hit the finish now button.

Seems like, for me at least lately ~ when a new drag comes out, if I try for it almost right away, I get it. I got Elements, Carnival and Mardi Gras first try!

But if I wait a few days it will take me forever! If at all!

Well I took the advice and changed combo again and tried night x landworm night x firestfire and even lotus x landworm and still have had no luck with these all I got were magic coral charms life and wilds but no elements and now I believe I have spent more gold speeding up breeding than what this stupid dragon would of cost than to just buy it right away. So sad so now I am taking a break and tring for picses instead

you are perfectly right ! i tried for skeleton just when they released it and i got it after 3 fails; i tried for valentine dragon and i also got it after few fails ; same thing with cornucopia; i got lunar horse from my 1st try. however, it took me ages to breed a raven dragon ( over 30 fails and almost 2 weeks of non-stop breeding ) because i tried to get it 2 days after they released it. same story with the elements dragon, took me 11 days to get it, and now i'm confronting with the same problem trying for jewelry .

Like any other breeding combo it's just a case of luck. Your most important essence is patience.
Take any dragon-combo that includes red,green and blue and you will have the same chance to succeed. I always read so many advices about which matchup is the most effective, because anyone out there was successfull with this special one, but it's just mathematics. A case of chance. You can just minimize the amount of potetial fails by excluding other colors.
So try Athletic/Forest, Landworm/Water, Island/Fire, whatever you like most.

the best combos are athletic/ forest or knight/forest because you cannot get the magic fail. however, you cannot escape the island dragon torture. another good combo would be athletic/quetzal but there are long fails ( diamond, quetzal, crusader and mercury ) but these are ultra rare. my Elements dragon is now epic and i must say it looks fantastic !

Athletic/forest is the same as Atlantis/Fire as in both give you a dreaded 20hr fail consistently.

Many combo possiblities but 20hrs is all ive been getting. Gonna try Night\Turkey repeatedly until i get something(Celtic, Carnival, Mardi Gras, Four Leaf fails are possible)

Elements is a rare dragon that I still haven't lured to my Island:( if I were you and me, I'd try with island x athletic or life x serpent. My little 'trick' for getting tricolour dragons is to overlap at least one colour.

Tropic x red rose
Gemstone x tropic (sounds best to me)
Right heart x atlantis
Wild x island

Hopefully one of those nets you an elements! Good luck :)
