I'd love to know more about who else is playing this game.

If you would, tell me your age, what you do (student, job etc.) and where you're from.

I'll start. I'm a retired RN, living in western North Carolina.

This is probably not a good idea, considering that there are many children playing and I am pretty sure their parents don't want them advertising that fact on a public message board. :)

Yes, you're right. I didn't post my age. I thought I was probably one of the older players on the board and figured saying I was retired would probably give you the idea. But I'm happy to see that there are other retirees playing too! So I 'll fess up, I 'm 60.

And Norman chooses this post, where there have clearly been mature adults minding their own business, revealing nothing unsafe-here he feels a need to give a warning!! What a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi :)
My name is Donna. Recently left my most glamorous job as a Manager at McDonalds that I held for quite some years. I stay at home now and spend more time with my 2 smaller girls (9 and 11 years old) I also have two older girls 17 and 20 and a grand daughter who is 9 months old.
I am 38, and I live in Queensland Australia.

My ID is Donnahh for the only Story games I play and like: Restaurant, Farm and Bakery. I do dabble in Treasure but for the most part the only think I like is the Hello Kitty I made out of crates on my island :)

ROTF!

I'm not considered to be a native English language speaker either but I just have to say that it is quite funny when you said that you work in the "Marketing Field" and that you managed to run your "BS efficiently all day". LMAO. Sorry, not trying to be rude or anything, LOL, but in this case "BS" should really have been spelt out in full.

Why point out such a thing at someone else's expense? Your comments are the kind which unfortunately limit the forum. A shame.

It's precisely because I'm not a native English speaker that makes it Ok for me to point out odd little statements like this, so that we (non native English speakers) may learn from each other. Also, if you'd cared to look carefully, you'd notice that I did apologize in my post explaining that I wasn't trying to be rude.

And the reason I LMAO is because, as a non native English speaker, I really DO enjoy the ways in which the seemingly random combinations of English words and abbreviations can sometimes convey meanings different from that they were originally intended to be. I don't understand why you find that sad; maybe it's because you're so jaded with all of life's thrills that something so simple is no longer amusing.

To the poster from Thailand, I apologize again if my post was found in bad taste. It never was my intention to be rude. I live and work around South East Asia and move in and out of Thailand a lot; love your country, love your people. Some of my lunch buddies are from your country, and the company I work for, brings in language instructors for us and we've found that the best and fastest way to learn is to make jokes and laugh.

At the risk of being bashed and flamed more, the word is "******bag". What was it that Biff Sr said to Biff Jr in the show "Back to the Future II"?

As I said in a previous post, I was't trying to make fun of the player from Thailand. I even apologized in my original post to the player, explaining that I wasn't trying to be rude.
